Same problem with RS62 in my 6.5x47 with 139gr scenars. You need a couple of movements of the ram to seat it fully due to the compressing of the powder.. With the 140gr amaxs I can use 0.5grs more at 41.5gr that gets 2800fps from 24inch barrel.. RS60 is much less bulky.. I've got some ready too test.. Seats sweet as with no compressing. I tried a few with 39grs of RS60 as a speed test and it pushed the 139gr scenar 2830fps which would be a mild load.

I don't think anybody is a 100 percent sure but if they were too try slightly thicker jackets we may find out.. Hornady seem to dismiss the so called blow up.. Some say it's because there a budget bullets. From what's known Hornady have thicker jackets on the new A tips and I've not heard of anybody having any blow up even through looking on Accurate shooter but if you push and spin any bullets too hard they can blow up.. There's also talk of the extra heat from friction from the bullets travelling through the longer barrels..!! I've read that the Bergers have and can.. I think Berger recommend not to push them past certain speeds in fast twists. Info I've read on accurate shooter.. Not sure if many have blown up a scenar..!! Every jacketed bullet has its limits.. Monolithic bullet is a different animal.. So much info on accurate shooter..

2960fps in my 1 in 9 twist.. I tried them in my 1 in 8.25 twist barrel on 61.8gr and 62grs of N165. They too shot great but I didn't chrony them.. just a couple of test groups as I'd already loaded them before I had the blank targets with my 1 in 9 so I fired them rather than pull them. I'd imagine on 62grs would be a bit slower. Not much though...

Justin's statement would be correct.. He'd soon stop using them if he started getting blank targets... I thought it might be the longer barrel and the extra friction but his barrels probaly 30 inches or more. I've had no problem with them in my 284 either and there doing about 2800fps through my 26 inch barrel. They definately don't like my saum 😂

I tried 5 more 180gr ELDM's in my 7mm saum about 3 weeks ago at 1000yds electronics and 2 out the 5 shots I fired didn't register. All the other approximate 165 shots fired between 2 of us did..🤔 They are good until they don't make it...
