Ballistol
28 minutes ago, Twodogs said: Excellent shooting, be interested in the set up, ammo etc. It’s a Anschutz 1710 D HB, in an MDT chassis, with a Bushnell ET6245FG. Was shot outdoors from the bench, off a Harris bipod and a rear bag, using Lapua Centre-X.
Ballistol
Shot 10 groups, 4 were under an inch, worst one was 1.5”. Was devastated, when one shot missed the mark in this group 🤣🤣🤣
No i deer
Nice... A bench and rear bag and a 24 mag scope is bound to help.. I'm using a 9 mag scope with a bipod and cushion thing that's easy to carry. Next time i test some ammo for one of my f open guns I'll take the 22 if it's calm and give it a go at 100yds.. I have shot 3/4 of an inch 5 shot group so it's likely to be capable
Twodogs
Superb. You set a high bar, most people would be happy with that at 50m. You've obviously mastered the very dark art of wind reading.

The cards edges close up slightly, giving the appearance of a smaller hole. The size of the hole you can actually see through, is about .175". See attached picture. I measured a bullet then rezeroed the calipers then opened them up to the size of the holes in the target.. the same as measuring the edge to edge of the group and subtracting the bullets width

One on top of two
That’s how they should be measured. It gives you a C to C group.
No i deer
I had a feeling someone would think I measured it wrong.. Used to do it the old way edge to edge and subtract the bullets width. That was my first time doing it Erik's way
