  1. It might work with my bag rider but I'm not gonna know for sure until I offer my bag rider too it to see if 2 holes line up,thanks for the photos I will give it some thought Thank you 👍
  2. It's on the first photo. Yes probaly a spigot mount,my stock is a KRG whiskey 3 so it should fit mine.i would need closer photos to see if it's what I am after though before I decide if its suitable. Cheers No I deer
  3. Would you sell the stock extension separately,if yes how much, can you post some close up photos of it,I'm wondering if I could attach my bag rider too it. Cheers No I deer
  4. I don't think my 25 06 pushed a 75gr v max that fast off the top of my head,I maybe wrong though. I can remember not getting anywhere near the published nosler data for the 25 06 with Rel 19 pushing the 85gr nosler ballistic tip, I went 2 or 3grs over there max and still couldn't get there.
  5. I would of said Muir was a very reliable source for load data on SD besides Laurie who is very knowledgeable. Quite a few of SD members are ukv members. If it's the load for 243 load with 48grs of RS 60 pushing a 75gr vmax does sound alot of powder, when I had a 243 I used 41.5grs of Varget pushing the 75gr vmax,it's probaly 10 years since I've had a 243 so I've lost touch.
  6. Wow that surprised me on the price tag.... I'm sure it's a cracking scope but if you ask me these top end optics have a huge mark up. Way way over priced. No offence intended. Atb No I deer
  7. What's the new Mk5 leupy like....? MK4 glass is superb and a great scope but my eye couldnt keep the reticle from doubling occasionly which I found annoying but that's probaly my vision not the scope...

I tried G7 and found my elevations were way out and found G1 much better for me,I've no I deer why it was way out ðŸĪ”,I can't remember exactly but it was a couple of minutes or so keen. Not sure if the bc for the 7mm 180gr ELD match bullets has been confirmed yet. Last time I checked it had TBD which may have ment to be determined..! Again these hornady Bc's are with this doplar radar which is probaly only a gnats willy difference anyway

Entering the Bc's in my bal cal with all the other info gets me real close, good enough for my needs
  12. The brass gets annealed on a AMP annealer, sometimes every firing sometimes every 2 or 3, this time they had just been annealed and I came across 2 out of 120 I've loaded for a competition with no neck tension, there's about another 80 I've not yet loaded so maybe more yet.
  13. Have I missed something as Nick was ripping the necks off the cases, what was the cause...? There is so many different types of dies nowadays, most still say FL size, some with bushing and some use a custom expander mandrel after they have been bushed to a size so to be expanded after which seems to me the best solution, hopefully very soon I will receive my first custom expander mandrel and try this technique, reason being I've been getting the odd case that's had none or very little neck tension and all the brass was neck turned at the same time and the same bushing was used ðŸĪ”
  14. Have you remembered to lube inside the necks...? Expander ball will be 2 or 3 thousanths smaller than the bullets diameter Unscrew the spindle and measure the expander ball. Before you unscrew the spindle measure how much the decapping pin pertrudes below the die bottom so you put it back the same 👍
  15. Mine is a 1 in 8 and I use 139gr scenars.they will do you nicely,41grs of RS62 works great,10 thousanths jump
  16. I didn't really get to the bottom of the problem, the die i had skimmed brass off every neck. Forsters customer service was really good,Hannams were just unlucky to be the stockist. They were still helpful and quickly sorted things out with forster and me. The neck wall on your brass maybe fraction too thick by the sounds of what's happening too you,the tolerances are so tight. Expand yours and neck turn them for uniformity and only take off the high spots 👍
  17. Yes Dave it was.i did about 190 before I notice all the brass trimmings on the press because I didn't have my glasses on 😂😆. Partly my fault but I didn't make the die.... Lapua brass
  18. I had issues with a forster BR die set, first one skimmed brass off the necks ,i neck turned them all to uniform necks, sent the die back and the new one i was sent over resized the necks,it had a 7mm button on a 6.5 cal die ðŸĪŠ This may be your problem too...! I sent this die back aswell and someone from forster rang me from the US appoligizing for the problems I had, asked me for some damaged brass etc etc, he got Hannams to send me another die set and micrometre seater as compensation for my aggro.
  19. How fast do you want to launch a 139 to 147gr bullet, windrift wise again very little in the 6.5's, you'd have to go out too 1000yds to see the difference Anybody have comparisons at hand. According to my bal cal my 27 inch barrel will launch a 139gr scenars at 2836fps at 55f. Adjusted my bal cal velocity by 100fps faster and it a 3.5 inch gain in full value 10mph wind. The extra 100fps is only 1.5 inch gain in a 5mph half value wind 😉ðŸĪ”
  20. There's the usual 6.5's then there's the high performance 6.5's,depends what your after and there is the trade off with barrel life. I've got a 6.5x47 and it's great, I can't see what I stand to gain by changing to another 6.5 cal, the 6.5x47 is very accurate and efficient.
