  1. If you don't care about barrel life then RS60 will push the 180s at warp speed, I could get 2915fps from 52 to 52.5grs I think out of a 26 inch barrel.
  2. I am retesting the 180gr ELD match bullets the weekend from 1000yds so it is a good test at that range. The previous 100yds tests showed some promise.
  3. Ok Terry. You know more about it than me 👍
  4. I'd say where ever Robert Thomson got it from before Grant Taylor screwed it on,I've no history on the barrel apart from I was told it had done about 150 shots before I bought the rifle with this barrel on it... I can't see it's history is anything to do with me somehow.... Out of intrest would you care too explain... NID
  5. Barrel wasn't suitable in the end, I did have a feeling this would be the case... Thanks for replying chaps 👍
  6. Ok Mark thanks for the info. Obviously it has to go through an RFD and the paperwork and shipping of it has nothing to do with me then,it would just be entered on my ticket as sold and I have too inform the firearms department.
  7. One of the ukv members asked if I could send my barrel too him who lives in Latvia....? Yes or no as I've no I deer 😁
  8. £40 inc postage The lens protectors are a great thing to put on when you go hunting and have the comfort knowing you won't scratch them keeping them dirt free...
  9. To the top . I have some Remington brass that can go with the barrel.
  10. That's why then Dave. Neil Mckillop did both mine so thats why my brass was good for both chambers
  11. 4 or 5 times fired brass used in a new barrel,5 shot group with 184gr hybrids
  12. I've recently taken off a 1 on 9 twist 7mm saum barrel and screwed on a 1 in 8.25 7mm saum chambered barrel and didn't give it a thought about resetting my die for the new chamber, the 300 odd cartridges I've put through it have chambered fine and shot well, the 1 on 8.25 is coming back off shortly and the 1 in 9 going back on so too shoot the barrel out before the 1 on 8.25 goes back on again, the old brass needed the usual prep but some new brass I put through it stretched more as i noticed it trimmed more than the older brass did. No point resetting my die until the older barrel is worn out and the 1 in 8.25 is on til it's worn out....
  13. Another way to extort money from us I guess 🙄
  14. Thanks for that info catch. It would of been nice to of seen the 139gr scenar in amongst the other 6.5cal bullets,I'm 100 percent sure there better than the ELD match bullets, maybe now nammo is part of Berger they may become more popular,in all fairness the Berger hybrids will take some beating in any calibre.. I don't use them in my 6.5x47 as I like the scenars and they are way cheaper and I use them in snapshooting details like 200 and 300yds McQueens and 600,900 and 1000yds snaps...
  15. A similar sort of thing goes on with the firearms department. They give you authority for 1000 of .284 projectiles and they also grant for 1000 of 7mm projectiles 😁. These bodies don't know alot about what they are doing it seems.better for us I guess 😉
  16. I will try that then. The second stroke is another pump/bump,I don't take another full stroke, just make sure the case holder bottoms out twice.
  17. I double stroke the ram when I'm bumping the shoulder back 2 to 3 thousanths because some don't bump back that much on 1 stroke of the ram and I notice it chambering the bolt,i guess the brass springs back... The double stroke ensures it's actually bumped it back the desired amount.
  18. No falling outs just trying to help 👍😁. It's been wall to wall sunshine here in Bath too 🌞🌞 Out of curiosity why have 2 different types of comparator gadgets.....?
  19. It is. When checking with the hornaday comparator I always check the oal aswell as the comparator measurement as it's zeroed when in its closed position does both.... That's why i asked if it had been rezeroed as that's how I record both of my measurements.
  20. Not familiar with the Sinclair. Its was just a thought. Gotta picture handy....
  21. I'm not sure this is a silly question but did you rezero your calipers when you changed comparator parts, the oal should be the same measurement give or take a thousanth.
