  1. I've not inspected my brass with a magnifying glass but visually it looks clean/polished,it's not a real rigid brush and the bristles soon flatten down.i will post a photo of my current bronze brush and have a close look at the necks and report back.
  2. I'm not 100 percent but I'd say jump
  3. Look for the foxes shadow the next time your out shooting over stubble
  4. Oh I c I didn't know you were using a night vision.... For the ones who's missed plenty shooting over stubble will check too see there not shooting at shadows from now on 😉. We all miss at times though some never miss never ever 😳🤣😴
  5. If the misses came from shooting over stubble ive got the answer this as I too have missed and I believe when your shooting over stubble you get a shadow from the fox and I think you shot at its shadow..!!!!!
  6. Some use dry lube in the neck for neck tension mandrels and seat the bullet on this dry lube that's still in the neck. I won't mention any names but I know someone who does this who recently chronied some ammo and had an ES of 0 fps and I seen the chrony reading
  7. I use a 35 or 40 cal bisley bronze brush in cordless screwdriver to remove the carbon but I don't ultrasonic yet...
  8. Maybe the RS62 load in my 6.5x47 is temperature sensitive then..... I was thinking it was me.... sometimes it shoots absalutely amazing then other day 🤔 what happened there 🙄.... I quite believe that can be me at times.....
  9. My 284 is a T3 action coupled with a 1 in 9 twist 26 inch bartlein and it shoots great.
  10. Thanks.. I was kind of hoping the front bag rider was coming out from the spigot where the bipods attach 👍. I will modify something that does 🤞
  11. I group test some ammo for my new 1 in 8.25 saum barrel. The loads that grouped the best I chronied, one was 61.5grs the other 61.9grs. The 61.5gr load shot 6fps ES and the 61.9gr shot 26fps. I then tried a ladder test at 305yds. I loaded up starting at 60grs going up in 0.1gr increments up to 62grs, after 8 shots the load plateau'd through the next 12 shots before the shots started climbing and showed a faint ejector mark at 62grs.the plateau of the 12 shots gave a verticle spread of 0.687 of an inch.... I already tested accuracy and chronied and the 61.5gr load was near the middle of the plateau so I went with this as there a little wiggle room for temperatures variations... The load shoots great and driver error is the weak link 🙄😁
  12. It's more out of curiosity than anything... There probaly the highest tech bullets on the market so you kind off expected a big money for a box especially after watching the hornady video's about them.... If they did a 7mm I may have tried one box for fun If I could shoot a one hole group with them at 1000yds they then become a bargain... I did try some 7mm 180gr ELDM's in my 284 at 900 and 1000yds in my 284 last Sunday and they shot very well indeed. I had tested some at 100yds several months that showed promise and they delivered. I'd batched weighed them in 1/10th of a grain lots and they were very consistant, these were more in my price range 😁. I've got some loaded to test in my 7mm saum hopefully to use in the Dorset rifleman f class league. I will keep the Gucci Bergers for comps and GB f class league matches....
  13. Thanks Nathan I will have a look 👍
  14. Anybody tried them yet.... If so what calibre and bullet weight did you try and were they easy tune.... I find it odd that they haven't got a 7mm bullet as the f open contingency like there high BC bullets. The 7mm calibre has to be the most popular f open calibre. The 30 cal 250gr A tip has a huge BC.
  15. Jeez not too many ultrasonic cleaners too chose from then 😆. Knowing nothing about them makes it a bit of a mine field. Looked on eBay for a good used one but I'm none the wiser 🤣
  16. So what mix would I need for cleaning brass and what mix would I need too clean my stainless muzzle brakes and mod..?
  17. I may have a picture on the instruction if I can find the box..
  18. Most women seem to be fat these days 🙄
