  1. I am going to get myself one if there's any left, I'm curious to how my bore cleaning regime is and what I may have missed. I'm sure it will come to have many uses besides rifle bores.... I will have as you say Dave train my eyes too it. There's no substitute for experience.....
  2. Alot of places won't take it. I did find somewhere that did but how much you get for it it's more trouble than it's worth. It was added too any copper and lead I've collected over a period. The brass money would barely cover the fuel costs to get there and back on its own...
  3. If you look through the hand loading and favourite load section there's loads of load data for the 6.5x47 and I'm quite sure there is some for the 130 grainers...
  4. So say when the target is shot too poo you start getting inconsistent readings, I've only used the electronics a couple of times and they seemed ok
  5. I like the snow as i do the fireworks but also like it gone..
  6. I realise that Dave 😁. I will shoot against anybody 😉.
  7. It would be a good idea for a UKV competition at Bisley. Maybe a multi detail comp. 200yds McQueens 300yds McQueens 600yds snaps 1000yds snaps. All shot prone Any bipod and no rear bags or monopods.
  8. My 6.5x47 😁 Do you need any shooting lessons Dave 😉
  9. My current pac-nor you fitted Neil has done 1754 shots and was still shooting great when I tested some 140gr amaxs last Sunday.... 5 shot group at 100yds
  10. Me too. My 6.5x47 is a Pac-nor super match barrel and shoots great. I'd definitely have another....
  11. I've worked the butts on century many of times and some of the mechanisms that hold the targets frames are not working very well or are not weighted properly and are very hard to move up and down. It's about time they were modernised for something electronic or something that's easy too use.....
  12. People talk of 25fps per inch on a centrefire but that may depend on the cartridge your using and how fast it's going. Try going on hornady or Bergers ballistic apps and see what it predicts for you 👍
  13. I've still not got around to buying one yet 🙄
  14. Berger have always without fail replied to my emails and provided there load data I asked for.....
  15. I set my scopes up on my dining room table which looks out to neighbours house which has white UVPC double glazing and a is brick built, plenty of verticle and horizontal reference points, also they have a white outside light I boresight on 😁,with bolt out I can hold my head and eye down so the verticle line goes plumb down through the centre of bore axis.. I double check with levels,I've boresighted within 4 inches several times
  16. Getting the scope level is easy. Getting the rifle level/plumb is the harder bit depending on the action/stock.
  17. That was the ghost of one of the other rabbits you shot 😁. Shooting foxes is cruel 😁
  18. It's reason if anybody was wondering why/how did I miss that.....!!!
  19. I've not inspected my brass with a magnifying glass but visually it looks clean/polished,it's not a real rigid brush and the bristles soon flatten down.i will post a photo of my current bronze brush and have a close look at the necks and report back.
  20. I'm not 100 percent but I'd say jump
  21. Look for the foxes shadow the next time your out shooting over stubble
