My RS62 139gr scenar load will be doing about 2810fps from the 27 inch pacnor, i've not bothered to chrony it as it shot the same elevation at 600yds as the H4350 load, I use this for McQueens and out to 600yds,I've got 300yds McQueens this Sunday.looking forward to it.

That will be an expensive load development 😁

I use 41grs of RS62 behind the 139gr scenars that shoot superb in my 6.5x47, I tried them first on 41.5grs but I felt they were too pokey,went down 0.5grs and they shoot like a laser

I watch a video on YouTube where a test was carried out which was to fire shots to 1000yd target then at 1000yds in the opposite direction,one going against the direction of the earth rotation and one with the earths the rotation.possibly east and west. There was about 6 inches difference either way from poi from the rifle zeroed in a different direction. A version of something like that 😁

I heard the other day that somebody has recently moved into a house very near bisley and have put in a complaint to the council about the noise of gunfire 😂🤣. As anybody else heard anything..?

I plotted wrong at the last 1000yds f open shoot.i added on windage instead of taking it off and dialled in what I entered on my plot sheet and found myself into the 2 point ring.having confused myself it took a few shots to realise what I had done but it was too late then.i was on for a decent score til then 😂. I think the main reason was we've been so use to a left to right wind change was opposite this day.

I fancy having a go at some far away targets again.ive not done any since the 50 cal club stopped shooting on Salisbury plain (javelin range). It was nice watching them tracers go out to the 2450yd gong hanging off the tanks barrel

Maybe they've been shot at and missed and noticed the ir light then it becomes an association thing

Vortex golden eagle 15-60x52 if you want plenty of magnification. The gun pimp (Vince Bottomley) Did a review on it on target shooter and well worth a read. I purchased a second hand one recently and it seems very good glass,I've only used it once so far and I like it.

I wasn't aware you travelled that far, Alot of the club members I know travel as far and further than me ,there is some more local shooters but I only know a few, it's more a case of finding the time in the busy lives we lead Ive only ever been there once in 8 years on a week day that was a Friday and i stayed overnight.
