    Good bullets Probaly the 147s ELDM's then. I do like the 180s in my 284

    What make of bullets are winning the matches.. Which is the most popular bullet of choice.

    Would you have too qualify too shoot the WC some how or can anybody enter..? Like shooting well enough in PRL too qualify to be in a team GBPRL team as you'd expect to be team shoots at such a prestigious event..

    I've never taken my mod off my CZ452 nor cleaned it bar pulling a bore snake through occasionly.. Maybe I should..!! I have cleaned the crown off a few times and the muzzle thread.. Bore looks good with the teslong

    A chance of a berger delivery is slim.. You might be able to order some through brownells uk but it will be expensive.

    My 284 is a T3 with a 26 inch bartlein.... As Big Al said the bolt is slick. Mine is in a Manners T4A stock. It has its range attire on.

    I use my 284 for stalking/hunting and I use it for 1000yds snapshooting.i used it once for f class when my f open rifle was away with Neil Mckillop getting another barrel fitted.. it was 300 and 600yds.. it shot very well.. I used the 1000yds snapshooing load that I use with a muzzle brake but I put my mod on as its quite kicky with a naked barrel.. The 26 inch barrel wouldn't be competitive at 1000yds against race guns.. ok for 600yds it seems.

    I like the phoenix pod.. Saw some today.. I regret selling mine.. Used the mystic pod too good effect today

    The Ax pod is good but I like the mystic pod for range shooting.. a Harris everytime in the hunting scenario

    I club member I know had a ZC scope that went wrong when I was there.. I might see him tomorrow. Might get too hear what the aftersells is like.

    The moa 2 reticle has served me well.. Use it on my 284 and 6.5x47.. cranked up to 32 mag gives 1.5 moa hash marks that easy to measure with at 600 and 1000yds. The same reticle with 1 moa would nice.. the vortex golden eagle has that capability which works well on 40 mag..

    I had a falcon 18 mag scope years ago and i never had a problem with it.. I don't think the glass was as good as sightron though.. having 2 x 8 x 32s for years now.. Maybe the falcon gas better glass now..

    My CZ452 is a varmint.. How come the stock hasn't been drilled to take the front action screw..??

    How would you describe the condition of the green boyd CZ452 stock..? How far apart are the action screws and does the front action screw attach several inches up the barrel. Cheers NID

    I'm not into wood.. I prefer a synthetic type stock.. I know the LRP is wood but looks synthetic.. My CZ452 stock is also wood but I sprayed it drab olive myself.. I like green stocks 😊

    Have you tried eley match or tenex.. They both shoot great for me.. so I here tenex is batched eley match ammo.. Rim thickness etc
