I too have the ziess range finder and it's top quality. I've been undecided on exchanging my 10x42 el's and the ziess rangefinder for some EL ranges. One thing less too carry..

I imagine most of the top f open guns worldwide are mainly running on Hodgdon extreme powders.. H4350,H4831sc and H1000...!!!

I couldn't be bothered to look as I'd never heard of it. As quite alot of shooters visit Bisley I thought that was a good option Thomas. Yes Thomas I think H1000 is a very good powder.

I had a feeling someone would think I measured it wrong.. Used to do it the old way edge to edge and subtract the bullets width. That was my first time doing it Erik's way

Iclose up slightly, giving the appearance of a smaller hole. The size of the hole you can actually see through, is about .175". See attached picture. I measured a bullet then rezeroed the calipers then opened them up to the size of the holes in the target.. the same as measuring the edge to edge of the group and subtracting the bullets width

I layed and shot inbetween 50 cals.. I didn't withstand many blasts before I moved 🤪🤣
