    Took my CZ452 out again last Sunday.. It was a little late really as it was getting dark but I thought I'd have a pop.. 50yds on 9 mag eley match. Not the best but it was nice too shoot it again. I'd expect it too be half that size normally.. Shot off a pod and a cushion thing prone

    Primarily my S111 was for hunting/varminting and doubles up for 1000yds snapshooting.. The illuminated dot is superb in low light.. Best reticle bar none 🎃

    Try painting the etching with tippex and wipe off the surplus

    Yeah that gold isn't a great idea.. I have 2 sightrons and that's the only thing I'd say is was wrong with them.. Cracking scopes.. The replacement turrets are a bit pricey 🎃

    The 162gr amaxs could be a bit harsh of roe under 250yds. That's why I switched too eldx's.. I've not shot many deer since with the eldx's and the ones I did I head shot.. Definitely less explosive.. I've not tried any of Richards bullets yet.. Not hunting much these days

    What 162gr bullet. Amax,ELD or Eldx's. I've not use 162gr ELDM's but I use 180 grainers. My 284 is on a T3 action. I used N165 on the Amaxs I think 56.5 or 57grs.. about 2850fps. RS60 would take it too 3000fps Moved too N160 for 162gr ELDX'S s about 2900fps on 54.8grs I think. My barrel is 26 inch. Use lapua brass

    I think you'll find they do the 7mm 180s. Maybe somebody else could confirm this..!!

    I thought the scenar l's come factory pointed these days.. I've not used any scenars for getting on a couple of years now.

    I think most lead core jacketed bullets can blow up if there pushed and span fast enough.. It's probaly a jacket problem.. Just too thin or soft.. The Atips can blow up apparently.. For competitive shooting use the scenars as a blow up will cost you 5 points that's why I stopped using them in my saum.. Great accuracy until they don't make the target

    I think it was the 6.5cal 147gr ELDM's blowing up in this video.. Search Accurate shooter for lots more info on this.

    Yes they blow up.. They get a few hundred yards out and bullet decintragrates in a puff of what looks like dust

    I've shot both bullets in my 284 at around 2800fps.. I've not done a side by side comparison but they both shoot great.. Scenars don't blow up if pushed like the ELDM'S can/do. I've not lost one at 2800fps but I know some who have going over 2850fps.. My saum blows them up at 2950fps. Since my last blow up I've put 700 or more bergers through my saum without an issue..

    I use N160 in my 26 inch bartlein.. Currently use the 180gr ELDM's. 54grs gets me 2800fps at 51f when I chronied the load.. It shoots them lovely.. I've used 180gr scenars and 180gr hybrids which also shot superbly.. Tried the hybrids on RS60 and 52grs would take them too 2880fps.. This powder is a barrel burner apparently to I never used it many times.. It was very good though.. N165 was good too but a little slower than N160
