  1. Call me , or it silly , but wanting to have a carry if i was in that shop id definitely want one if you could wind back time . Not being funny just my opinion. I know it could never be needed in your lifetime, and no one would even know you had one , but that saying - Better to have it and not need it - than Better to need it - and not have it
  2. Agree, the vids are educational - each and every one different , john give a mini lesson for each vid and itd be foolish to think - phaa it wouldn't happen to me . That shooting in brixham recently was unprovoked, randomly shooting the ppl inside hitting 3 of them. They seen it coming too , had one of them been carrying and able to react quick enough, it may of been a different outcome. Just saying. They almost had no where to go . Cornered - throwing baguettes may of got you executed - a conceal carry and someone trained properly could of stopped that threat . But also agree prevention is better option if possible - de escalate . These things are what the lesson is all about my friends..
  3. Slightly off topic but the steps are crucial to less risk -- One thing i did (when selling a new yamaha quadbike)‘ to reduce the risk of being a target tell them to bring photo id and check it before you go home , screen shot it and send to email or friend . I Wouldn't accept cash either as that could be fake. The very vehicle they come in could be stolen. I made him pay cash in to my local bank . I would never meet at home first! Glad they were ok tho . We live in a law abiding country - dont we pops ?? lol
  4. K&M with dial gauge , its single load but id been using a rcbs something which was good but no way near the Uniformity of using one with a dial.
  5. Agree, major citys are definitely more dangerous places to be targeted by phone thieves / pick pockets / knife crime / robbed / vehicle stolen from your person by gangs etc . but even quiet little towns - s£lt happens sometimes, it wont hurt to be more educated on the matter
  6. A chap by the name of John Correia , he uploads footage of different attacks / muggings / even murders - daily . On youtub - its worth a look and subscribe to its free and there's a lesson to be taught for everyone, there are some now coming from the uk . It really shows there's real evil on this planet. That people just Will do harm to you or others even if you comply . Its really worth a look so it may help you be more alert. To see different senario etc . It wont happen but this is the 1 reason id have a conceal carry if it were possible. To protect you / loved ones and innocent bystander - it wont happen tho . But take a look trust me
  7. Need to see a picture of this wee 17 rifle if possible? I miss my 17 - something about them
  8. Is it because there just soo fragible ? Or what ? Bad bullits ? Cant handle fast tight twist?
  9. Not sure where but apparently has the best penitrating ability on the market.
  10. The cheek of the seller / thats it as far as he's concerned _ Should be Fu{{{{ng ashamed of them selves. I feel your pain . Been there, one was a faulty shotgun with a hushpower full mod that was out of alignment n shot damaged to the muzzle end . He tried to blame me for the damage - but after i pointed out id never put it on my ticket ( because i checked that gun at the RFD to see that down the barrel ) he didn't really have an answer. Eventually he paid me back for the gun but only after i phoned him directly, So i sent it back to his RFD i lost 45 quid n long drive being inconvenienced . Then he got in contact saying its been fixed and is now tikety-boo - ? I replied No i want nothing to do with you or that gun . One thing i thought was weird his address turned out to be his work address - wonder why . Should name & shame them really The second was a scope from another member from Here - i paid good money for it only to have it not zero, contact them and low and behold - it was fine when they had it - was a great little scope! - i had a rule Never to buy second hand scopes - the only time i did it was a duff - thanks 475 down the drain. The trouble is some of the kit we buy it doesn't get used straight away , as could be a future build etc. Advise that if you feasibly can try it / test it DO ! But i guess certain people just stoop to low levels for there own gain - scumbags - Rant over / for now lol
  11. ^ Jees iv heard this before - fill so its overflowing then use a flat edge to wipe off the excess -lol ffs
  12. If the firearm dep have a ´reason´ to deny, then they almost certainly will . Altho you can appeal i believe
  13. You can seal shotty cartridge by melting the center crimp area like they do on wildfowl loads/shells . atb
  14. Thanks for the heads up , your not the first. Its more common now a days - scummy w##kers...
  15. Surely thats happened upon firing, they couldnt of just split in transit , if they were already split at the manufacturing stage would there be more sooty deposits? Id lob the whole lot personally buy better brand of brass , im sure its just a bad batch but iv only used Lapua or nosler custom.
  16. Probable safer to go 6br , theres countless people own this caliber because of soo many good features about it . Altho a 6ppc will outshoot it under 300, above its 6br territory . They both hold world records . The 6br firing a 105 can be very accurate out to 6-7 plus - ask the crows iv shot lol.
  17. That a fl type S? I use nk type S and seperate fl body die by forster , assumed he was using the same nk type
  18. Your type S wont have expanding ball as im sure your aware . As pops and the instruction say u want to hear the tiniest rattle of that bush When its locked off ! You should get really great cases sized with runout less than 3 thou from experience. When you prepped the 5 more had you changed anything? Or used UN-anneal cases? But good that they are perfect now . I do like fixing problems lol
  19. If its some form of soft wood itl only take so much before it could get damaged, a hardwood on the other hand? If its airsoft "noverich" a very good airsoft sniper btw its in the cheaper end of the market material wise, ok for a remmy700 airsoft clone that weighs naff all as there made of alu and softer grade hollow metal barrels etc . I regularly watch on UT an uk sniper airsoft called Kicking Mustang, you would be surprised in his ghillie how close he gets to the oblivious enemy and able to knife them sometimes. They have a range of about 100 mtrs . Take a look you be impressed
  20. Copper & lead samples iv described them as , but one day i did explain they were bullets / Not loaded ammunition and i was very aware of the laws on sending expanding at the time before the laws changed. They were target non expanding etc. The lady was fine .
  21. Hi , gluv mentioned a plastic bottle, on a side note i use lurpac spreadable, but new ads on tv have now shown there butter in card unfoldable box - for that reason im changing to that . Yes i recycle but if we can all contribute something towards less plastic on this planet its a good thing - albiet small step - atb
  22. Agree with pops n ronin , do you normally anneal your brass or was this a new step in your prep ? Try sizing an un anneal case and compare ? It could be either or both. Atb
