  1. I will be very intrested in how the 225gr ELDM's shoot for you.... I'm considering a 300wsm for f open throated for these bullets... Cheers N I D
  2. Thanks popgun.. It would simplize it for me without the need to fiddle with side parallel or AO for Crystal clarity.. It will need to be an airgun type scope with a set parallax of about 70yds.. Most scopes vary from 100 to 150yds which isn't any good for sub 50yds..
  3. Well one of the sassen barrel men comes on ukv so maybe he will enlighten you πŸ‘
  4. There isn't any cheap good bullets anymore really.. There is alot of FTR shooters on this website including alot team GB f class FTR shooters and this year's European champion so there's all the knowledge you need on here. You may find its down too personal preference.. Between them they've tried every bullet going.. I think recently the piggy jacks are being tested and some have been trying the A tips.. now these are the most expensive at nearly a quid each πŸ˜…
  5. I did think it was on a week day but I wasn't sure which day. For most this would be inconvenient..... Was it 900yds or 900mts
  6. I believe the 185gr juggernauts are the best alround mid to longrange bullets but they need to be pushed fast enough
  7. I think there's a range at Warminster. A mate used to go there occasionally.. it's either 900yds or 900m.. I can't remember the name of the range at the mo..
  8. Is anyone using or used one of these scopes. I like the idea of dialling in the yardage as opposed to the hawke vantage ir 22 subsonic that has the aiming points way too far apart.. You just aswell hold over... Not sure how good/clear the glass would be on the BSA sweet though.. I'm sure the hawke would be good. If I went for the hawke it would have to be the 3x9x50 as having to have it on full mag to use the reticle. 12 mag would be too much for short range. Cheers N I D
  9. What would the difference be in money between the cheapest barrel too the dearest barrel..??
  10. It is a snowflake society these days being too many dogooders around and most peope are scared to voice their opinions from fear of racism or some form of discrimination which is outrageous πŸ˜‚. Politically correctness 😴😴. What a pile of poo. Not sure where this will all end up πŸ™„
  11. I just tried it and the kernal sizes vary alot. 2 big ones 3 medium ones or 4 smaller ones could all weigh 1/10. Until you have a close up look you can see the variety of sizes. H1000 is about 0.04grs a kernal which I work to when trickling up..
  12. On the A&D scales how many kernals of N165 is 1/10th of a grain.??
  13. Curiosity....!! what is the differences between the V1 V2 and V3..?? In your opinions is there any other improvement that it needs..??
  14. I can't be a luddite because I'm not opposed to new technology otherwise I wouldn't prefer the matchmaster. Maybe Adam needs somebody to design parts into a more tasteful compact unit with its precission which would make for a very nice piece of kit...
  15. There is more than one video and that A&D&AT is a monstrosity and was a piece out of that Delorean from the back to the future film which also became part of the mouse trap game πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚. The matchmaster is a far better looking piece of technology rather than a contraption πŸ€ͺπŸ˜‚.
  16. On the videos other scales were used to validate the weights but it was suggested that the same check weights were used on both units and testing shown the matchmaster was accurate down to less than one kernal
  17. Hi catch.. Have you seen the new RCBS matchmaster digital powder dispenser.. check it out on youtube. The A&D and auto trickler is good but its a bit of a contraption. The new rangemaster is a nice unit and can throw charges that will match the A&D auto trickler but a little slower.. A few seconds means nothing to me... Repeatability does....
  18. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ Dan the dogger 😁🐢🐢
