To RobinC Is your barrel the same twist as the standard 22 us lesser mortals are using 🤔

I shot 4 groups the other evening from 50yds with my cz452 and 42gr winnie subs 2 x 10 shot groups about 1 inch 1 x 5 shot group about 0.750 inch The last 5 shot group was the size of my finger nail with one shot that went a bullets width low.. Very inconsistent.. I am very tempted to try some target ammo like RobinC used to see if the grouping is better.. Not sure they'd be any good for hunting though...

Same here but I bought 500 so I had to blast alot off to get rid of them. I gave some away for a mate to try as he was running out of the old eleys. Not heard back yet how it went.. Maybe he hasn't tried them yet..

Curious whether the AICS 300wsm is short action mag.. I guess it wouldn't fit in the place of a 300 win mag as its quite long.. I had to build the back of the 300 win mag out to suit the length of 7mm saum. Cheers NID

Same problem with RS62 in my 6.5x47 with 139gr scenars. You need a couple of movements of the ram to seat it fully due to the compressing of the powder.. With the 140gr amaxs I can use 0.5grs more at 41.5gr that gets 2800fps from 24inch barrel.. RS60 is much less bulky.. I've got some ready too test.. Seats sweet as with no compressing. I tried a few with 39grs of RS60 as a speed test and it pushed the 139gr scenar 2830fps which would be a mild load.
