  1. RPA are a bit of a dark horse from what I hear , whilst not that well known on the UK civilian market they do supply numerous foreign Police and militaries through out the world , possibly the main competitor of AI.

    204

What would you say is the realistic maximum range for varminting with a .204 ?
  4. I agree that is wrong , as I said before it seems like the best way is to call them or email your list.
  5. Its no surprise to me online shooting supplies stores dont have everything in stock , naive to think they would have, think what it would cost carry dozens of each product across say 50 -60 manufacturers , Β£500k? Β£1m ? through in optics and guns and it would be several million , margins are low in any area of online sales so its not an attractive business model for many, its been mentioned "the biggest gun dealers " in the country have never got everything people order yet they probably carry more stock than anyone , that should tell you something. What makes it less viable is when penny pinching types buy from outside the UK , they also do the most whining .
  6. Seems like the answer is to use the old method , phone em up, list in hand , or maybe email to check availability.
  7. And you wonder why British retailers dont carry much stock and the service is poor πŸ™„
  8. The margins in online sales are so tight , sometimes as little as 3% so I can understand why online shops prefer to draw off importers /distributors/manufacturers as and when required rather than carry stock , its a situation that has been caused by the consumers who dont use their local shops and sure enough they are the ones moaning . I do agree online shops should not be taking your money if they dont have it , they should explain this before debiting your card.
  9. Canada`s are non native pests, pest control is a reason to have a FAC shotgun.
  10. Just use a Hausken adaptor they reduce M18X1 to nearly every thread available, they are around Β£20.00
  11. We may well see more competition on scope prices , ie Nightforce .
  12. One that does all will result in you over heating as soon as you have to move around , layers or two or three jackets will be better.
  13. Pulsar are the best value for money and back up is second to none , never heard of Rongland , Chinese as a guess , its taking them a long time to catch up with the Eastern Europeans , how do they compare on price ?
  14. That typifies the anti hunting mob , very little knowledge about how the countryside/ecology works and they dont want to learn as often the real science hurts their fluffy feelings.
  15. If you are only away from civilisation for a couple of nights tinned casserole is great , heavier ? only if you dont have to carry water for your dried food.
  16. However the proof house disagree .
  17. Indeed , if you look at import rifle that has to go to proof and is threaded the sneaky gits stamp it just below the thread .
