I doubt the law makers will take that in to consideration or if they do they may ban <12 ftl bs for hunting.

Like I mentioned I dont think lead should be a problem if it can be recovered/contained which it can in target shooting , for small game in the sticks it may become a requirement to use lead free , IIRC a chap I know uses the RWS lead free on some wildlife reserve and its a requirement of the owners.

First point is we are no longer part of the EU , There has been talk /controversy over a voluntary lead shot ban for game in five years , its cost BASC a lot of members as members weren't consulted prior to the announcement, if and its a big if it does come into place it will not affect clay / trap shooters who generally shoot within a contained area. Lead bullet ban ? well already deer stalkers are using lead free as some game dealer will not buy venison shot with lead bullets , its not law and as far as I know there is no proposed law in the UK , lead free game bullets can be very accurate as can target solids , I dont think target shooters have much to worry about for 5 maybe 10 years or if ever as they can arguably recycle lead bullet heads which should be seen as acceptable in the green environmental world.

No idea but if they are in business I doubt being associated will do them any favours, it all seems very odd .

As it is a Not for Profit association I guess a full set of audited accounts will be available to all members and these will go right down to directors expenses ? or will anyone questioning the accounts be asked to leave as they are trouble causer ? , I`ve seen this in some quite large clubs .

Yes , that makes sense or trying to get funding from somewhere .

Its looking corrupt before its got off the ground , an organisation`s /association`s members need to be able nominate and vote its committee in otherwise its just a commercial operation with no more credibility or say in how a sport is run than any other business does , clarity and openness are essential in the running of any club/association/organisation , they should also be not for profit, just my thoughts.

I had heard that through "range gossip" about their old set up , the PRL ( is that finished now ?) , it makes you wonder what they have to hide .

If you have an open ticket you can shoot anywhere you deem suitable and that you have permission to shoot on , it sometimes takes a bit of work to get this into an FEO`s head , many are civil servants and dont know their jobs very well.
