  1. I bought the fishing coasters ...breakaway tackle. About £4 each and work perfectly. The cost of branded items is criminal!
  2. RCBS sent me one foc. Damned good customer service as my unit is many years old!
  3. Precision ceramics. Its not cheap so a group buy helps.
  4. Srvet....happy to let you have some HBN for trials but posting 'white powder' might be a tad chancy!😁
  5. I use it in hopes of prolonged barrel life in 6mm and others where I use double-based powder. The problem being how can you measure that with any degree of 'science'? For certain your barrel will not foul anywhere near as much as with bare bullets and I see no cold bore shots but on this latter point many believe its a 'cold shooter' issue! It is very easy to apply without mess and a tiny bit goes a very long way.
  6. Pay as much attention to your business model as the targetry. I am sure that setting up a proper facility is incredibly expensive but when I see others needing / wanting to charge £35 per hour it becomes out of reach personally. Can the UK market stand what you may need to charge to recoup your outlay? I any event ...the very best of luck....we need more ranges and ones that cater for more than paper punching.
  7. Anyone know if / where these can be had....preferably at a cost reflecting their actual value vs S&B brand driven prices! 😁
  8. You are asking a question that cannot be answered as is. You would need to be MUCH more explicit about your budget, expectations and a huge range of other detail to get anything like useful feedback.
  9. Might as well hang on for the V5 then! 🤣🤣🤣
  10. I have an RCBS Chargemaster which is donkeys years old but still works perfectly and despite me upgrading to an Auto-trickler I couldn't part with it. The power supply frazzled and I was unsure about buying a generic replacement. Called RCBS and without any hesitation they sent me a new power supply gratis of cost and postage. I am impressed!
  11. Or use 2 devices? Phone and tablet.
  12. Is that App an upgrade for the V3 version or a completely new one? IE can I run my current V3 alongside the V4?
  13. All I expect is a much more compact setup. I am assuming same speed and accuracy as V3. My V3 will go to my son

    Annealing

Thats my point....the AMP guys appear to have done exhaustive hardness testing to produce case-specific programs for spot-on annealing that you can believe in. Although the underlying technology may be similar I don't see a valid comparison on price or accuracy between these two extremes of tech. I want an AMP but struggle to justify the cost. I run a gas system at present using Tempilaq. It's clumsy using gas/Tempilaq but I can't see how guessing at induction annealing 'doneness' is any advance.

    Annealing

Certainly an attractive price vs the AMP but surely more than a bit 'Heath Robinson'? in its setup and how can you know that the anneal is done right? I would love a sub £500 solution but also want it to be as reliably foolproof as the AMP appears to be.
  16. Put it on pistol speed settings as well as using the trigger
  17. Still waiting ..expected December...no doubt Customs will want their share!☹
  18. Anyone tried leaving out the pins to avoid peening the chamfer?
  19. I will be sticking with FCSA and Monmouth....hopefully they will provide a mutual support ...looking good from what I can see.
  20. I would (and have) if quality was on par. I guess our market has proven too small to sustain the investment? Thats the tragedy.
  21. And in your face! I don't mind shooting next to a brake and have two braked rifles myself. Not nice next to a 50 cal though!😁
