  1. If there is one spare John I’ll happily make an additional RBL donation 👍 Tony
  2. 240v Annealeez with wheels for .223, .308 and .338 cases. £190 delivered Reduced to £180 Video Here - https://youtu.be/i33z2hflbSY I’m afraid the tacky stickers had to go ……..
  3. Norman certainly had bases (steel for the m82) and rings in fact pretty much everything you’d need - bottom metal etc I bought an original M82 but did not have the diopter sight and they were able to make one up for me. ZF69 6x42 was I believe the common original scope but I’ve seen them with pecars too. I managed to find a ZF69 from an eBay seller in Germany but I’ve got a S&B PM1 on there at the moment. Have fun 👍
  4. I had no clue that powder coating cast lead bullets was a thing . I (and my lever actions) obviously don’t get out much as I was finding articles back beyond 2015. Intersting stuff. I’ve only played with copper washed lead to try and cut down on barrel leading and found them to be very soft. I don’t particularly want to get in to casting at this point. Is there a recommended UK source for pre powder coated hardcast bullets? Tony
  5. Well suited the the Welsh badlands Ben! Is that the Ranger Point forend? We obviously need to hear more about the multi colour rounds …… Tony
  6. I had mine done a couple of years ago Dave. The halos disappeared for me after a few months, I think your brain just tunes them out. I don’t even think about them now and I just drove 300 miles overnight. I find using a FFP scope a crisp reticle image can be sensitive to head position as you have, as you explained, multiple concentric lenses. I find myself tweaking the rear ocular setting on occasion especially for ELR to get a perfect image. I do find myself hitting the light switch earlier as my pupils don’t seem to dilate as much as I recall in dim light. Being able to see turrets/charts/phone/kestrel without reaching for the old man glasses outweighs any other inconvenience! Tony
  7. You seem to have Googled Standard Deviation, now it’s time you move on to Google Standard Error to understand the impact of sample size on the relevance of your SD ……. Glad you are happy though 👍😉
  8. I’m still consuming rounds I bought a fair while ago. Is this first round pop or genuinely supersonic? Warmer nights should be helping with the speed of sound being higher ? (Correct me if I’ve got it the wrong way round, I’ve had a couple of gins 😂) Get a few over a chrono and let us know what you are seeing. Tony
  9. 1000 at Chobham Ridge as regularly as you could wish …..
  10. The last 3 items I have ordered privately have all sailed through without duty or VAT. Commercial shipments seem very slow and I suspect we are being given some slack to keep the backlog manageable. Just looking at another order - you know what will happen ….. 😖
  11. Looking good. What chassis is that ?
  12. I use these - https://www.nordicmarksman.com/In-Line-Spare-Shell-Holder.html
  13. Useful info. That hardness tester may have been the bargain of the year 👍 Tony
  14. edit - Apologies, I just read your back order comment, seems you already found them ! These guys do some great upgrades and will ship to the UK. https://inlinefabrication.com/collections/rcbs The ultra mount with case ejector setup, roller handle and primer catcher makes a great combo. Tony
  15. Try to ascertain if the underside of the bolt is dragging on the mag lips - a swipe with a sharpie maybe... Does the bolt cycle differently with and without a mag? I had a similar problem with a spikes upper on my existing lower and it just needed a tad taking off the top of each mag. The slight drag was slowing the bolt just enough to cause an issue.
