  1. I had 2 eley match go supersonic yesterday and 3 that didn't fire.. 2 of the 3 did fire on the second firing and the other wouldn't fire at all. This was the first time in the weeks of testing that I had any crackers with the eley match and them not firing. Same batch..!!
  2. Very nice.. It was so windy here yesterday I even abandoned going stalking... Opted to stay in around some woodland for a bit of shelter from the wind and it was raining at times.
  3. I had a little play.. I was up high and exposed to some serious crosswinds.. I had a little f class practice. I changed my poa by the noise the wind was making. More noise aim off further etc. I did quite well considering..
  4. Reaching out further will be my next test providing it's calm.. The 22lr has always been my favorite calibre..
  5. The benches I saw like you made were used by 50 cal shooters. Are you screwing the ply on the work mate or clamping it on with the winders on the workmate
  6. Nice.. I've seen something similar. I use to do most of my ammo testing off the roof of my pickup but the trouble is any wind or a slight movement by myself makes it rock. Upon the truck keeps you out of the cowshit and above the crops/long grass and shooting downwards. Nowadays I use a 6x3 piece of plywood to lay on as I mainly test ammo on a permission across the fields not at a range.
  7. Your point poa must of been dead still to put 10 R50 shots in that tiny group...!! You won't get much factory ammo to shoot like that in any calibre 😋
  8. Yeah watched the videos.. Them R50 were awesome accurate.. A mate says there the best 22 ammo he's used.. Seems my groups are getting a little smaller.. Maybe I'm getting used to the 9 mag scope more.. The white aim point is a little bigger which helps.. nearly no wind too.. it's probaly capable of better looking at some tight groups forming. I will try some tenex but I'm more than happy with the eley match.. it looks to be shooter error stopping the bugholes forming
  9. 2 more groups from today. I used my rear cushion I use to rest the butt on or sit on. Eley match 50yds
  10. 50yds. Cracking little group. One of my best.. shame about the 4th shot grrrrr. The thing I like most the poi is the same group after group week after week. That's quality ammo and worth every penny in my book. Next to no wind so that helped
  11. I had 1 go today. The 4th shot strayed.. Probaly shooter error... I could see the hole in the white but had no i deer the other 4 went in that small group.. Very pleased with the 4 shots.. used eley match
  12. I could benchrest my 22 as I've a SEB neo and a nice rear bag but I have the same issue with the scope magnification max being 9. The hold would definately be better.. I may try that next time if the conditions are perfect.
  13. Groups were benchrested then.. I got some replacement SEB bags that slope down too the middle which may suit your forend better.. I got them because I've 2 diff stocks. Ones flat bottomed and my other front bag rider has rails/so ski's so both styles didn't suit a flat top because the rails grove it making the flat bottom stock rock on firing because it's not flat.
