  1. Nice.. I've seen something similar. I use to do most of my ammo testing off the roof of my pickup but the trouble is any wind or a slight movement by myself makes it rock. Upon the truck keeps you out of the cowshit and above the crops/long grass and shooting downwards. Nowadays I use a 6x3 piece of plywood to lay on as I mainly test ammo on a permission across the fields not at a range.
  2. Your point poa must of been dead still to put 10 R50 shots in that tiny group...!! You won't get much factory ammo to shoot like that in any calibre 😋
  3. Yeah watched the videos.. Them R50 were awesome accurate.. A mate says there the best 22 ammo he's used.. Seems my groups are getting a little smaller.. Maybe I'm getting used to the 9 mag scope more.. The white aim point is a little bigger which helps.. nearly no wind too.. it's probaly capable of better looking at some tight groups forming. I will try some tenex but I'm more than happy with the eley match.. it looks to be shooter error stopping the bugholes forming
  4. 2 more groups from today. I used my rear cushion I use to rest the butt on or sit on. Eley match 50yds
  5. 50yds. Cracking little group. One of my best.. shame about the 4th shot grrrrr. The thing I like most the poi is the same group after group week after week. That's quality ammo and worth every penny in my book. Next to no wind so that helped
  6. I had 1 go today. The 4th shot strayed.. Probaly shooter error... I could see the hole in the white but had no i deer the other 4 went in that small group.. Very pleased with the 4 shots.. used eley match
  7. I could benchrest my 22 as I've a SEB neo and a nice rear bag but I have the same issue with the scope magnification max being 9. The hold would definately be better.. I may try that next time if the conditions are perfect.
  8. Groups were benchrested then.. I got some replacement SEB bags that slope down too the middle which may suit your forend better.. I got them because I've 2 diff stocks. Ones flat bottomed and my other front bag rider has rails/so ski's so both styles didn't suit a flat top because the rails grove it making the flat bottom stock rock on firing because it's not flat.
  9. Don't clean mine.. Use a bore snake occasionly.. To the f class question. I use 40 mag most of the time. Turn it down in mirage.. I gauged the dot in on the black diamond in the middle of the orange targets and I can get about 7 of my reticle dots inside the diamond at 100yds. Ultra precise small dot
  10. 😅 I'm sure you'll enjoy shooting most of them 👍
  11. Some great groups there twodogs. 50yds..?? Indoor or out door
  12. Agreed.. Until i try a high mag scope I can't see me bettering 0.711 group I shot with Eley match unless I get lucky
  13. SK standard plus group then the eley match on the obalong target.. Left eley target was single fed.. intresting that 3 were just about touching.. very fiddly single loading though
  14. I did hear the R50 and R100 shoot really well. My local hasn't got them and they didn't have any Tenex in stock either that's why ive not tried them.
  15. I was changing ammo types and wondered if the diff lines would affect the accuracy.. Not sure if It does or not..
  16. A mate who's following this thread who isn't a member on here said he's getting the eley match going supersonic...!! Eley club works best in his TX1 which is sat in a Oryx stock. Funny stuff the 22 ammo. Horses for courses scenario 🐎🐴
  17. 🤩 I was expecting good things from the SK standard plus but it was dreadful. The eley match you shot went really poor.. Surprised me big time.. You and Rick get the good results from subs.. That's all I'm after 🙄 Greeny just doesmt like them much 🙄
