  5. Dan Lomas the current European FTR Champion uses them. He is Furrybean on here.
  6. I use the same stock and found that most rear bags were too narrow for the width of the McMillan. I called Fox Firearms and asked if Seb would make a Seb Bigfoot as a special order with enough width between the bags ears to accommodate the McMillan. The order was placed and duly delivered It works and fits beautifully.
  7. Yes you are correct, neck the 6br case down ( two stages is best) and then turn the necks, easy as that.
  8. I think there may be a problem with the chrono. I would find it unbelievable that 31gr of N150 would only sling a 105gr bullet out of a 6br at just 2444fps. I use 30.1gr of N150 in a 20inch barrelled 6br and that sends them at 2740fps.
  9. Normally 30gr is on the money.
  10. I use 55.2 gr n160, 180gr moly bullets achieve 2950fps, 32ā€ barrel.
  11. If you want to use Wicked coatings Ian, they are 10 mins down the road from me so I could drop off and collect for you if you wish, itā€™ll save you the postage and we can meet at Bisley at one of the Dorset Rifle shoots.
  12. It would certainly be useful to see what some of the markers get up to in Stickledown butts!
  13. To stop any primers falling out when you insert the primer tube, simply depress the handle (which pushes the plunger forward and prevents any primers from dropping into the loading port of the tool) and keep the handle depressed until you are ready to load, that way you donā€™t have to do it slowly mate. SimplesšŸ˜
  14. +1 for n133 and the 39 gr blitz. Accuracy node should be somewhere between 23-24 gr. for 3700-3800fps and very satisfying results on magpies.
  15. Strange isn't it what people's different findings are. I run the 155 hybrids at 5thou jump and they shoot fantastically well.
  16. You add your name to a very long waiting list via Fox Firearms
  17. I think it's only his FLO that he needs to give good reason to.
  18. Isn't it just typical of the plod bullshit. Oooh no,you can't have a .338LM (which can shoot a 225 grain bullet) 'cos it's too much gun......but we are okay with a 30-338LM firing a 240gr bullet!! I remember years ago being allowed a 22lr for rabbit shooting, and later on I asked to change it for a 17hmr to be told that "I could not have of those because they can penetrate body armour" Really? So the .308 that I also have can't do that then?
  19. I counted 11 of the little b*****ds in a tree in my garden yesterday. They were only 10 yards from the kitchen window and sat that close together that one shot with a skeet choked 12guage would have possibly done the lot of them. 11 with one shot would certainly have been an unbeatable record. Although hugely tempting, having the armed Police knocking on the door 10 mins later would have put a dampener on things. I can't wait to move back to no neighbourville!
