Looks like a G17 strapped to the leg and either a LBT or PIG plate carrier with integrated MkII Fanny Pack on the front.

Purely out of  curiosity, not knowing anything about these things, how would he have gone about putting that lot together? Would it have been issued like that? A personal bit of kit or is there enough flexibility for a member of the sas to put in a shopping list of what they want?

From what I`m told "Them" and Booty`s can have what they want within reason when in theatre , if it`s got an NSN its easy for some to get a hold of.

NSNs are pretty misunderstood. Even bins, brooms, pencil sharpeners and bog roll have NSNs. A lot of gun and tacticool marketeers use that to imply that the product has passed some sort of test.. but no, it just means that theyve applied to have the thing catalogued.  And NSNs are irrelevant to the way SF (and booties aren't SF, they're infantry, albeit specialist amphibious infantry, just as paras aren't SF, they're infantry with a parachuting specialism, but, once delivered, both paras and marined just do 'normal infantry', not SF stuff) purchase what they need. They just, more or less, purchase what they want at a unit-ish level. This chap will probably have been presented with an SF unit-level 'buy what we want' smorgasbord to choose from.

The rifles are std issue, I believe they are supplied with 2 uppers, a 10" as pic'd and a 15.7"

The rifle comes std with the CTR and Ergo grip, I do know that much

They are mission adaptable, so accessories can be fitted as req'd, such as the suppressor, PEQ (good idea) and sight

I won't pretend to know more than this, because I don't

Is the seal team 3 patch on the back of his webbing (see other U.S. websites) standard issue also, or do you think he swapped it with one of his penpals?
