It appears simply to be AI’s “Gun-game gun”. Much along the lines of of say CZ and Benelli, who have taken the heart of their service pistols and shotguns and developed a version for the sport. And the US is where that takes place the most. 
 

it could prove to be a very clever venture taking the pedigree that AI is.

I've played around the edges of the PRL

I shall now become a fully paid up member of the 'all the gear and no idea' gang

I've been (and will continue) shooting an approximation of the PRL on my own land from 100 to 200 meters using .22LR

With luck it will help next year if and when it starts up again

I too, am awaiting the shipment of these rifles (paid for mine last week).

 

As to PRL, I think the international competition is going to be held in Spain next(?) year.  Call it the international finale or what not, but it appears the Aussies, South Africans and others will also be fielding a team to represent their country at the finals.  It should be interesting...

All the rifles you see "on test" are PRE PRODUCTION PROTOTYPES.

The rifle hasn't been released yet, so quite why people are taking orders and giving prices , is beyond me.

Didn't they also say 'No plans to release in the UK at this time' when they launched it?

Makes ordering one even more difficult, surely?

I still don’t get the 45 degrees key slots. Stuff comes loose when you don’t want it to and gravity lends a hand, stuff falls off. Would not have been an Eisenstein moment to reverse the key slots - release hole at the top so loose stuff doesn’t fall off when it becomes loose. Perhaps I am missing something as AI usually don’t do daft stuff.

Agree with the key slots being at an angle could be an issue. would like to see a weight option for the but to help balance if the front is weighted more/heavy barrel. 

Will the rifle be less than £1500rrp so we can shoot it in factory class  🤣🤣.

I would need to see one in the flesh to make my mind up.
