Tested more loads Sunday and they liked this seating depth

The bergers haven't got a ballistic tip so they're likely to be a tiny bit shorter. I think I have loads of room in the AI mag. The 6.5x47 is about 1mm shorter case than the creedmoor. As target bullets go berger are undoubtedly the best copper jacketed bullets made.

10 to 15 jump and they'll shoot like a laser with the right powder charge. From what I've heard you jam the vlds for best accuracy

I like 140gr amaxs in my 6.5x47 for hunting and my 140gr berger hybrid load for target and by chance has the same powder charge and the same base to ogive measurement and they too shoot superb.

Strange...!! My s type dies have a smaller size expander ball type thing just to hold the decapping pin in place

Maybe the the expander ball thingy that screws on that holds the pin in has came undone a little which makes it longer and that's pushing the pocket forward.. I have a Lee lr decapping die but I've never looked up inside.. a neck of fl die could also do the same dent I guess 🤔

Any sensible offers on these bullets..??

The chronograph and target tells me what I need to know.. I'd rather spend my money on more bullets and powder etc etc and enjoy more shooting.. There's only so much time you wanna spend loading up... I prep my brass to the best of my ability with the tools I have to do it.. If you like these gadgets there's nowt wrong with that 👍

It's the same scenario as fishing tackle It's there to catch the fisherman not the fish 🤪. Just another gimic 🤔
