Just saw this. Sharing, both because I think it's a great photo, and because I was surprised to see No4s in use in 1972

Interesting. Makes me think on a .22 SAK mod, the easiest place to 'attack' would be a replacement front end cap, with its exterior threaded, and the weight reflex-style back over the mod.
One thing that bugs me on the ball aesthetic, and I suppose is, Nite too, is tons of effort put into luming the indices, then only tiny slivers of tube put on the hands - the emphasis, given a watch's raison d'etre, strikes me as arse about face.
Looks bloomin good Dave. For a multifit option, and no extra barrel cutting/threading, why not thread the rear exterior of the brake and have the weight there? For extra mass, if needed, the weight could extend back, reflex-style, over the barrel?
I'm not sure a bolt will necessarilly be noticeably more accurate than a BAR22... put enough scope on the BAR and give it a go. Mine is silly accurate.
The cyclops reviewer is technically spot-on, and I quite enjoy his enthusiastic quirky Southern style I'd have a dig through his reviews.
This review led me to get this Element scope for .22 use ...I'd say it's about 85% of a 5-25 Schmidt for £2000 less.
He also reviews the delta that Top Scots has mentioned, sounds even better, but £400 more:
