  2. from the pics you have of the scope if it was mint i would say £750 tops £800 a used but good condition with no marks on lenses £650 tops dave
  3. hi scf31 itlooks like you got yourself a nice scope ive used mk4,s for over 20 odd years i like the turrets yes they were made stiff to mil spec thats so you dont move zero i have some of the original m1 16x40,s they are still crisp clear glass i think they are a very under rated scope and leupold have a life time warranty as well cheers dave.
  4. i have had mk4 leupolds for a long time, check underside of scope for serial number, but that looks like a genuine 8.5x25=50 one to me from the pics, but email leupold to make sure, there a very under rated scope good luck dave

  7. my friend who is a lab technition, can make a threaded collar, he has a z6 and uses leupold magnetic flip ups on his swarovski scope. he.s very clever. dave
  8. my load in my 223rem is 52 gr bergers they drop charlie no problem and anything else and they are target

  10. well ive put shooting on the back burner for now, gotta take care im 67 and been told to stay indoors, exept for walking the dog at 5 am, its so quite and peaceful nobody around, and a little bit of shopping for food with the missus, i wanna be shooting when im 97, so good words of wisdom from ronin, and to all of you guys on here, take care and look after your family and lets get over it dave.

  12. ive sent items for guys on here with no payment and never a problem, ive even given items away for free, but got caught out a while back, i wont send anything now without payment , and what pissed me of, was i gave a set of rings away to a guy on here for free, then 6 months later he was advertising them on here for £50 , so im sorry 1 bad apple and all that, there are some great guys on here who i would trust, but its a shame some take advantage of you, any way you guys take care out there and be safe dave. ps kevgun i hope the matter gets sorted.

  15. hi lee ive used jewell triggers for years but 6 years ago i bought a remmy 700 and was after a jewell but at the time couldnt find one i was talking to a guy at diggle range and he said to try a calvin elite trigger i did and and i couldnt tell the differance and the are cheaper good luck dave

  17. hi del i use 24 gr vhit 135 with a 25gr berger i prefer the 25 gr bullets than the lighter ones good luck ive shot 17 rem for nearly 30 years i love it

  19. does anyone know of any shops selling montana extreme products, e.g. bore solvent, copper killer, cheers dave.
  20. any engineering works, can make up a set of stock bolts screws for you, i had a set done a couple of years ago, the guy charged me £2.50 each take your original screws with you dave.ps i wouldnt give brownells uk rip of merchants the time of day, they should be banned in the uk,or email sako direct good luck dave.
