Personally I don't think PRL is 'ridiculously expensive'. With an entry fee of £200 for two days structured competition with Rco's and markers it is not cheap but neither is it 'ridiculously expensive'. There are also many costs to be covered by the organisers, time spent setting up targetry and different courses of fire, Admin, ground rent etc etc. Before criticizing the cost have a think about what you would be willing to organise such a competition for and where you would find land suitable. By its very nature it requires a very large area which dictates it will be located in a remote area. Of course to participate it does incur extra cost but for me personally that's no different to driving down to bisley or blair atholl to shoot long range, ammunition cost is broadly similar and accommodation also if I want to stop over. People tend to look at the entry fee, multiply it by the number of entrants and assume that's all profit - it ain't. Wake up people, everything has a cost. And by way of comparison a quick google revealed the 2020 Bushnell Brawl has an entry fee of $275.... https://nationalrifleleague.org/matches/20-01/

Pops, the only echo chamber I can think of right now is the vacuum between the ears of Labour supporters and those that think any sort of coalition in the current circumstance is a good idea. More time would be spent with the coalition members infighting than actually resolving the issues - we've already seen the extent of dirty tricks to which individuals will resort when the democratic referendum didn't go the way they wanted. We have individuals taking out legal injunctions and getting the laws changed to prevent progress - a processes in which the voting public has no say.

Intelligent choice? Oxymoron when used in the context of voting Labour! Their budget doesn't stack up, their policies stink and Corbyn is trying to appeal to the young and inexperienced voter as some kind of Robin Hood figure, taxing the nasty rich corporations to support the poor. The reality is as Baldie has already highlighted, if given the chance Labour will bankrupt the country once again. A Labour Government really doesn't bare thinking about.

Yes he does and I also have a lot of time for the 243 and I don't believe it gives anything away to the newer hot 6's, least not any margin that I can sensibly exploit. The one issue i'm having is spotting missed shots(yes I admit I miss sometimes 😀) on what I can only describe as 'dumb' targets that give little to no splash. There is also less report for a hit at extended range wit the 6mm. From observation the heavier 6.5 cal bullets seem to help a little in this respect. That's why i'm looking at 6.5 and from what I can see in the main from real world users the creedmoor is not offering huge velocity gains over the 47. I already share a 47 with my son but its a right hand bolt so it would seem sensible to stay with 47. Or look at the next step up in performance and cartridge size. Then I think you are entering the realms of recoil V ballistics and ability to spot fall of shot unless used in a heavier rifle which I want to avoid. Interesting that the trend in the US seems to be a move toward 6mm though for PRS comps?
