  1. I want a bino harness pouch for binos. Needs to have some weather protection to keep lenses clean and dry and hold the binos close to the chest when not using them. I like the look of the S4 gear one with the quick release flap over the binos and the similar harkila ones. Anybody use one or recommend anything else.
  2. How is this done? For example if you take a standard cartridge and want to predict the Ackley version? Is it a case of increasing the case volume ? What about the different shoulder angle? Thanks.

  4. Nothing wrong with a T3. Look forward to more pics.
  5. edi, thanks for your pictures. Information seems sparse regarding information, results etc. Please post more when you have time.
  6. That looks to have been a great comp and what a great way to support such a charity, fantastic. Any details on the stages, targets and results etc anywhere ?
  7. Bore snakes are also pretty useless for clearing a plugged barrel. Kleenbore do a small collapsible cleaning kit with around 8" long sections. A word of warning - the sections are steel so care is needed. I carry their kit for emergency use and for that it's great.
  8. Excellent comp yesterday. Well done Tiff and thanks to John and his team at Orion for a well run day.
  9. Ethical grounds? Please explain.
  10. You meant you don't have a well reasoned and logical response?
  11. So you're not going to define wholesale and now wish to move onto 'major money spinner' Again, do you have any facts as to the major money spinner? Yes undoubtably thousands of people are employed as a result of game shooting, it no doubt supplies an income to many estates that would otherwise struggle. Waiting to see where you move the goal posts.....
  12. Define 'wholesale' please. And no one is asking you to ally yourself with anyone making as you phrase it, offensive and dumb comments. I note however you now say you are not promoting a split but earlier state you will not, support other types of shooting. I take it you are similar to Pete and myself in so much as you are not in receipt of the facts either? But wish to spout publically about wholesale slaughter anyway? Hmmm.
  13. Popsebengo, why are you actively promoting a split between different branches of shooting? As I have stated in other posts I am not in receipt of the facts relating to a specific image but it seems neither are you?
  14. Pete, are you in receipt of the full facts? What acerage were the hares taken from and why? What was the density of the hare population prior to the 'industrial scale slaughter' you refer to. I do not know these facts but expect they were influential in the decision to remove the hares from the ground. If you do know them then please share. If you don't know these facts are you in a position to comment in such a manner?

    Quickload update

    Great , thanks.
  16. Does anyone know if the update includes Hornady's 147gn bullets in .264 cal? Does it update RS powders? Thanks.
  17. I have a K525i. I have put it on a rifle but have yet to zero it. However the quality appears excellent and the glass is to my eyes very good. The turret clicks are positive and the turrets are well marked. Like the 624i the parallax being under the elevation turret is very good for a left hander. With the illumination turret being opposite to the windage turret this gives far more adjustment for scope rings over a PMII. The Kahles scope caps are also very good.
  18. I Cant comment on 6.5Creedmoor as I don't load for that calibre but I have swapped all my various dies over to Forster full length dies and micrometre bullet seating dies. I find run out on loaded ammunition to be very small and more often than not less than 0.001".
