  1. It would work but you would more than likely hit pressure before you got to a reasonable and competitive speed. A few years ago I tested it in a .284 Win and while accuracy was fantastic I couldn't get to a sensible velocity for serious competition, 2770 fps. Another problem to take into account is that IMR powders aren't known for being particularly temperature stable.
  2. All the Hawke scopes work well with the 007
  3. I'm keen to find out more about the C50. I believe the release date was supposed to be early Nov, but nothing as of yet. Im particularly interested in how it compares to the Wulf 4K.
  4. Yes very happy, and very easy to do online. Thinking about it I might even do one for myself.
  5. Forster make one for the Co Axe. I have used this company to make me carry bags for the Seb Joypod and Seb mini. You design it and they make it. https://www.bagsandcoversdirect.co.uk
  6. Believe it or not I managed to have a look through a Wulf a few nights ago! It seemed to be quite good for the money. Unfortunately The only other digital night vision that I have looked through to judge it by was a Drone Pro, not surprisingly the DP eclipsed it by some margin. The owner of both the DP and the Wulf did a test in daylight where the results were reversed. Im sitting tight and will await the opinions on both the Pulsar C50 and Wulf 4K.
  7. 0000.1p per wasp I think you will find it's done on the size of the job, difficulty levels, hazards, level of infestation etc
  8. Very informative, thanks. I will be keeping a look out for the Webster hardness tool.
  9. Can anyone give a rough guide of the 2nd hand price? The tube is a old gen 3, it isn't spotless but at the same time it's pretty good. It has a side switch that opens and closes a shutter, this means that it can be used in twilight conditions without damaging the tube, a very handy feature when your intended quarry arrives a bit earlier than anticipated.
  10. I have a quantity of each, £38 per 1lbs tub, but I will go lower for more than several tubs. PM's only if you're genuinely interested. Face to face only, I'm often at Bisley or could possibly make arrangements for Diggle.
  11. That's my combination, I'm using 29.2 grains of N133, this isn't a max load but probably not far off, obviously start lower and work up.
  12. Odd twist for 180 gr projectiles, although it will work as 1-8 twists work fine. It will be interesting to see how it shoots, hopefully he will give you/us a progress report. How much for the tyre? 😂
  13. I have been using the dull glow (cherry red) for quite a few years now, and I only look for it inside the neck, I find it is very repeatable once you know what to look for, you have to be very very vigilant as the case leaves the flame. This normally coincides with what I believe is called burn off and the flame changes colour. Years ago this was said to be to hot, but if you watch the Benchsource annealing video this is exactly what happens. I did a test a few years ago with brass annealed at 3 different temperatures and tested I believe at 600 yards, the third set of cases I expect 99% of people would have said they were over annealed (if only I had made a video) I will have a search for it, although I was informed that my test groups of 5 shots for each temperature were not enough.
  14. 700 of the above, £50 per box or £48 per box if all 700 are purchased. plus postage UK mainland only.

  16. 5.5-22x50, NP2DD ret. Very clean optics and tube, without box. I had actually sold this a while ago thinking that it was a 56mm objective lens, the buyer then informed me it was a 50mm (duh me) I refunded him the money. £750 plus post. Sorry not open to offers, not unless you have a March High Master you want to swop!
  17. N160 N165 RL 23 RS 62 & 70 With a 26 inch barrel I would be looking at the quicker powders, like N160, RS 62 and RL23
