  1. Removed as I don’t think Neil wants his phone number open on here.
  2. Thank you Johns, much appreciated 👍
  3. If anyone has any experience of reloading for this cal using projectiles between 90 and 105 grains I would be glad to hear from you. The purpose is for fallow deer stalking, but any loads for target shooting would also be appreciated, in particular I’m looking for a powder of choice.
  4. That’s the St George’s Lodge
  5. Not a problem leaving camp, occasionally you might get asked by the security guard.
  6. Not sure about breakfast, but midday I prefer the Lord Roberts over the clays cafe or Fat Tony’s. For evenings my first choice is the Artists, followed by the London &Middlesex, North London and the Surrey. Or take a plate and eating Irons and order a Chinese, The new garden is the closest, it’s also very good. Just outside camp you have a chippy, Pizza, and Indian. There’s quite a well stocked shop a minute out of camp up towards the military base.
  7. As Ronin says Winchester works well if it's batch sorted, chances are you will have to buy more than you need. Some people prefer Winchester as the brass holds up better before the primer pockets go.
  8. Rubberised and light, excellent for training young dogs ( not puppies ) it’s in a used but good condition £30 including postage.
  9. I’ve got one myself and it’s hardly ever used, but I can’t bring myself to sell it. Fantastic stocks.
  10. I’m getting it on my IPad and PC. It won’t appear on my IPad until I look at a post, on my PC it’s permanently there.
  11. The problem has been made aware to those who need to know, let’s wait and see. I do wholeheartedly agree it’s a pain in the arris.
  12. I wouldn’t recommend shooting in the Europeans as a novice, not only will you be shooting against some of the best shooters in Europe, this year you will shooting against some of the best in the world, and as a novice that’s not fair on them, or you! GB F class association used to run a introduction to F class course which was done to help novice shooters get familiar with how things are done, and it proved to be very popular. Since Covid it hasn’t been run, but this matter was brought up at the recent AGM and it is hoped that it will get going again. As already mentioned Diggle or the Dorset riflemen clubs will hold you in good stead in what is expected from you and what you might expect. Another good competition for the novice is the Phoenix meeting at Bisley, it’s also very cheap. If you’re serious about shooting F class send me a PM and I can probably find a bit of spare time to help you get going, but only if you’re seriously interested.
