  1. 4x still sealed boxes of unfired 100 Lapua cases. £80 per box including postage plus postage.
  2. I have a Area 419 universal 5/8x24 moderator adapter that allows you to attach your mod to the Hellfire barrel adapter so am currently looking for a mod with a 5/8x24 thread.
  3. Good fun on the cheap, bolt gun accuracy prevailed over the semi autos. Certainly a good way of practicing PRL style shooting. Worthwhile knowing how a .22lr drops as the rabbit shooters did, I was surprised how much I over estimated which cost me dearly in the early stages. Targets, all steel, ranged from 36 yards out to 89 yards.
  4. Ordered the V3 powder dispenser as the Lee measure does not work well with RS80, should be here in a couple of weeks.
  5. Now on 6mmBR.com: http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2019/06/precision-rifle-league-in-the-uk-orion-mountain-challenge/
  6. The Shotmarker is a great bit if kit but be aware it does not pick up subsonic shots so may be unsuitable for indoor use.
  7. Gen 1 mount with two piece rod to mount Magnetospeed to rifle without clamping to barrel. ARCA and Picatinny mounts included. I have replaced this with a Gen 3 mount hence reason for sale. The Gen 1 is a bit fiddly to adjust and works better with just one section of rod fitted rather than two. £55.00 posted. https://images.app.goo.gl/17owiCuyWdTtEjos9
  8. Just swapped out my 30" barrel and Hardy Moderator for a Bartlein 5R 24" 1:7.5 and Hellfire Brake.
  9. Tacom HQ very kindly allowed me to swap the Nightforce Scope Mount Ring for a Picatinny Rail Mount that arrived from the USA today so all sorted now.
  10. Buy decent brass then no need to debur.
  11. Each match I’ve been to has so far been an improvement on the previous, keep up the good work.
  12. 6XC Peterson SRP Brass, 115 grain DTAC, 3200 FPS out of a 24” barrel with 39.5 grains of RL17 and Russian Primer.
  13. That hole should not be there, at some point someone has drilled that for whatever reason. If it shoots well keep it and enjoy it, but it's on longer original.
  14. I picked up the one on the left this morning to add to my other BSA SMLE Mk III, all three were used at the Centenary Armistice Match last year two are WWI vintage the new one (to me) is from 1918 and the one on the left that I have owned on and off since 1998 is from 1917, the one in the middle is dated 1920. This brace of 'shooting' SMLEs is only going to go up in value.
  15. Scope mount unit was cheaper. If you were going to use it on multiple rifles rail mount might be a better option.
  16. I know its unlikely but goole suggests someone had a Charlie Tarac on display at the Northern Shooting Show. I've managed to get scope mounted Charlie Tarac but the adapter is for a Nightforce, waiting to hear back from the US.
  17. Anyone know where I might get a S&B 56mm Objective adapter in the UK?
  18. No not necessarily, every rifle chamber is going to have slight variations. Neck sizing only might work for you but when shooting against the clock FL sizing reduces the chances of having to faff around to get a cartridge to chamber.
  19. I did with a Whidden Bushing FL Sizer die, might be my chamber of course, but the Tubb 33XC die reduces the base from 0.5850" (fired in my chamber) to 0.5820", virgin unfired Lapua Brass measures 0.5815" at the same place on the case head. The Whidden FL Bushing die reduced the base to 0.5845", CIP specs a chamber measurement of 0.5854" at the same place on the case, however without a fixture to hold the case to ensure measurement in exactly the same place on each case there will be some variation in dimensions although it (the 33XC die) definitely reduces the base dimension.
