Something I read somewhere about case discolouration when using warm/hot water. I did get some funny results once when I used water out of the kettle hoping that I could cut down the tumbling time, cases had a funny purplish tinge; put them through again with cold water and all ok.

Always use cold water.

I settled on the Hornady ELDM 225 grain bullet for my first load development but will soon be experimenting with Warner Tool Company Flatline .30 Caliber 198gr with Tubb Nose Ring.

The 'caged' electronic systems in Butt 19 can be left out, I would suspect that the Shotmarkers are removed each day as the Sensor Hub has the be recharged and is very easy to remove (steal) as ate the Sensors.

I would guess you are getting confused between different systems.

Taken from the Shotmarker website: Darrel please don't think I'm deriding your achievement I merely questioned the validity of 'Records' set on electronic target systems that are know to have a tolerance band, particularly when that is relatively large given your group size (could have been 25% larger or smaller in the case of a 1" group).

Excellent shooting, I do have a question on the use of the Shotmarker (I have one and they are excellent) when setting 'Records' given that the stated accuracy of the system is to within approx 1/4" depending on wind conditions (affecting the target not the bullet); would record claimed on a Shotmarker be valid or would it have to be verified on paper (difficult to do if the target has multiple hits on it?

I think the term used these days by the liberal elite is you have to be 'woke'. In its modern-day, politicised context, 'woke' is defined by the OED as 'originally: well-informed, up-to-date. Now chiefly: alert to racial or social discrimination and injustice'. Or IMHO the ability to be offended by everything and be the excuse used to shut down debate, particularly from the left leaning snowflakes, when it does not fit their polarised agenda.

Whilst this poll is a reflection of what our small group of like interested and minded members may think and vote on today will it be reflected nationally? Who knows we will have to wait and see.
