  1. Ok the links are there for the downloads but once downloaded I can't open the files. Is it just me? Could be my phone, but I'm not getting any messages like I don't have a programme to open it or anything.
  2. No, I'm not a member, I only work for them.
  3. Thanks John MH, that's where I was looking but thought I'd missed something.
  4. Has anybody seen any updates from the NRA yet? There was supposed to be something today, but I can't find anything.
  5. Yes good news if you are happy with the electronic targets. I hope full operations follow soon.
  6. I don't think it would be so hard to maintain social distancing at Bisley. Getting to and from a target can done along the sand between the targets and sand bank. In the office, it's simple enough to keep your distance. Other than that I am 100s of metres away from the shooter! I don't see that many people at work, a handful at most. Far less than I do in a supermarket.
  7. If you hate them, why use them? Using them implies you are happy with them. At least, tell Bisley you aren' t happy.
  8. Correct. From the NRA's facebook page Maintaining social distancing is easier on some ranges than others, so we intend firstly to open weekends only on Century, Stickledown and Short Siberia rifle ranges (electronic targets only – we will install 6 shotmarkers on Short Siberia), booking targets by the hour for single firers. " Not good news for me, or to those who don't like or can't use electronic targets. Also no dates as yet for reopening.
  9. Given they're my employer it would have been nice to hear it directly from Bisley. Eventually I did get an email. Got another one today.
  10. No offence but do you know something I don't? The NRA have me booked until Friday and I have private work for the weekend. Nobody has said anything to me or to my shooters about an imminent closure.
  11. Contrary to confusion on Facebook Bisley is still open. As you all know, Bisley is privately run and not run by the MOD. Many clubhouses and all the restaurants or cafes are closed though.
  12. Yes indeed. Had a cancellation this pm but still business as usual.
  13. To be fair I didn't know anything about it until it was posted here, so though I am not a member I wouldn't be able to expect something that I didn't know about. Member or not, I do work for the NRA so it would be nice to be kept informed
  14. Markymark thanks for copying the email. No I didn't get it. Obviously markers were not seen fit to receive it. From that it looks like the Imperial might go ahead. Though if the Grand national is cancelled maybe not. Clearly I am 2m from the shooters. 2m from the target next to me is impossible. I don't suppose Bisley would let me work from home?
  15. To be honest, I don't think the NRA do know what they will do..... To be fair though it's not looking good for the Imperial.
  16. Seriously? I cannot comment further.....
  17. The Covid 19 Virus is starting to have an effect at Bisley. The MOD has cancelled all the cadet training they run, eight lanes for the weekend after next cancelled. What's bothering me is will The Imperial go ahead? I know it's a way off yet, but Glastonbury was cancelled and that's the end of June, and way bigger. Any thoughts?
  18. Good news they have both been recovered! Any news on the scrotes that took them?
  19. Dunc I never thought of it like that. The target faces aren't charged with every use, only when they are falling apart.
  20. You are quite right. The NRA won't sell them as you found out. They don't stop you using them thought.
  21. As far as i am aware, the 600 F class pin on target for century is slightly smaller over all than a standard NRA 300 target. Stix is a different target again. I haven't seen anything different about the target faces recently.
