  1. I’ve compared all 3 and the xlr comes out on top in my opinion. its an odd question as with the tikka, you are limited to it being a tikka. I thought the chassis was clunky. my choice is custom action in xlr, and then custom in mdt, then factory tikka if thats the only options you are considering. i quite like tikka factory rifles but the tictac is just nasty.
  2. Some peoples eyes are linked to their pockets, and they wont say anything bad about the best thing they can afford.
  3. £137 to convert compact or cqb to borelock. brake about £95, plain collar £54
  4. Thanks, guess its a call to PJ then to find out cost of conversion.
  5. Can a normal jetz be converted to a bore lock one? Anyone know cost?
  6. I also go against the theory that cheaper scopes are better. I’ve used add ons with laser and ir illuminators on high end schmidts, swarovskis and zeiss’. Its not the glass that matters its the ability to px lower. Give me a high end scope anytime.
  7. My main hunting rifle sits pretty flush and goes up and down into highseats just fine, 3 in the belly and one up the spout 😃
  8. Under my Alpine, i use a 5 shot pmag for hunting, and 10 shot ARC double stack mags for other uses. The pmag doesnt rattle. 10 shot aics for scale
  9. I just used to underload the rifle when climbing into highseats when i had a sunny hill floorplate, didnt ever drop the floorplate open in the field.
  10. Yes you missed something. He asked for a 3 shot mag with longer than factory dimensions. You showed him a factory remington cdl dm, which will not be long enough. He uses a wyatt box to get the extra length. The mag you offered is a standard remmy part, so i imagine will not be difficult to obtain, either new or s/h.
  11. Thats a standard remmy detachable mag isn’t it?
  12. The right tool (apart from a cnc machine) is a hot wire cutter. Loads on ebay
  13. Its odd that you choose a single shot action in a chassis, odd to me anyway, i’d have had a nice stock on a single shot rifle or a repeater in a chassis. looks nice though
  14. 6xc would be better with an 8 twist to shoot heavier bullets. It definately kills fallow
  15. The roundhouse offers shooting similar to this
  16. I got one stuck in a muntjac once, weighed it in at the dealers, worth about 5p
  17. That explains it then, not the looks!
  18. Why is it so expensive?
  19. Every time
  20. Borden 6xc
