Powder looks to be similar to Vihtavuori N 530 so could try a similar charge to those recommended on the viht web . Seems to be a very tight band of only two grains between max and min so could be finicky. Good luck

What Roy W said..........RS 52 is my powder of choice with 80 grain bullets.

My mag length load for 77gr (SMK, Scenar, TMK, Nosler Custom Comp) with RS52 (now) and N140 (previously) is 24gr.

24.5gr would be hot in my rifles.

with 77 TMKs, mine Chrono at 2730 out of an 18" barrel at 24.5 grains of RS52, with no obvious pressure signs.

I suppose there are bound to be variations in different rifles, so the OP should build up etc etc

Aye. Not doubting you: you know your onions and don't seem to be fighting stiff extractions on the firing point!

My pet loads are upto 25 grain of N540 with hornady 75 grain eldms  for bolt gun tikka t3x . If you need a 2.26 coal it might be a bit less so try some less pointy bullets . 73 grain eldms are good and so are Berger 73 s and their 70 grain vlds. Lapua scenar 77s are also very good. Buy in bulk as there’s not much about . Cheers

So NO ONE has done a load using LOVEX D073.4 (AA2230) , for 77Gn Heads..
Just that  I have over 2kg of the stuff.
Rather than buy RS52?

Cheers

Dave

Manufacturers guide gives loads for 69grain bullets, start lower and work up

Not much use to you but I’ve got a load with D073.6 and 77gr bullets. You might be able to swap your 73.4 for 73.6?

This is data (less than a year old) from the US importer of Lovex. Looks like 23.5 grains is the top end. Look under "AR-PLUS" data. ~Andrew

"Under the Lovex brand, this propellant is referred to as D073.4."
