Scotch_egg
What is the current go to tumbler? I’m looking to go to the wet stainless steel pin type of tumbling.
terryh
Mr Oeuf, I have a Frankfort Tumbler for wet/pin cleaning, seems to work OK and has given no trouble so far. As we now no longer have an AGA also invested in a food dryer off fleaBay to make life simple re drying lots of brass. Do not use it every time, still finish off with a Lyman corn type vibratory cleaner after wet tumbling as I feel the brass is ‘too clean’ re seating - but testing inside neck lubing at present so might be a process not required (but the brass is really shiny) T
GT3_richy
If you have large sacks of cash lying about, get a LEM https://www.henrykrank.com/lem-plus-electromagnetic-brass-case-cleaner.html 20-30 mins is long enough to get mostly very clean shiny brass. Xtrema
I have the Extreme Rebel 17. Not cheap but well worth it.
KatoomDownUnder
Another option is to use a wet tumbler like a Thumbler or Lortone. https://www.aussiesapphire.com.au/tumbling/reloaders/ I use a Lortone 45C and it's capable of doing a max of 100 .308 cases. Another option is to use one of the cheap ones off fleabay.

shoppe
I use the lyman set up and it works very good, I just use a squirt of washing up liquid in with the water , Primer pockets cleaned very nice too. I would never go back to a dry tumbler. Cheers Shoppe

Re-Pete
I've done 70-80 308 cases at a time, but I've never run it at max capacity.....................if I get a chance tomorrow, I'll fill it 2/3 full of 6.5x47 and count 'em. (I sold the 308............) Pete

Re-Pete
Here you go..............that's with 100 Lapua 6.5x47 cases. I'd say 150 is possible. Remember, this is the 5kg version......... Pete

Re-Pete
I bought 500gms of these: https://www.1967spud.com/shop/stm-tumblers/pins/ There are quite a few advertised on fleabay, but Spuds are the best size......they do the primer pockets as well.
