  1. Certainly a superb base for a multi calibre rifle John Your 2K shoots extremely well - no reason why this version won’t do the same - looking forwards to seeing it when it arrives. The 33XC looks very interesting - will that load as single or mag in the ATR - looking at brass spec it appear to be slightly longer than the Lapua case and would probably be best served with solids rather than conventional jacketed bullets. Which brings in several really interesting products - Warner 256 flatlines, Gs Custom SP and Lutz Moellers LM 105 (all 33” ) Pretty certain all would need single feed Interesting times for ELR 😄
  2. Have an account with Tiemens ....

  4. Funny there was a discussion about just this on another thread earlier today
  5. Thanks for the response Mark Interesting to hear the get your viewpoint, given you’ve run so many comps. Upu could be right that the only site available that’s currently passed for use would be the Powys sites - central travelling time for many. Targetry on site and multiple lines of fire abailable ? Would there be the feasibility to use this as the only site for a PRS style Comp but have several matches over the course of a year using different areas of the site ? Maybe wouldn’t appeal to those north of the Scottish border due to travelling time but it could work for many south of the border,,,,?
  6. Though it may be something which would appeal to many shooters in the UK if there was some enterprising soul who would arrange an initial come as you are comp There are plenty of ranges in the uk which could host this type of event Diggle, Eskdalemuir, Powys immediately spring to mind as areas which this might be possible It isn’t beyond the realm of possibility
  7. I’ve found that the ELDX group adequately well along the lines of SMK in my 6.5x 284 Though no jacketed bullet performs as well as Gs customs offerings in my experience - I tend to use these 75% of the time as I have to use copper on several areas

  11. That will be good though not so great for people who have currently paid for export licences.
  12. The PSE stocks have carbon fibre pillars built in during construction, therefore require only a skim of bedding compound to create 100% action / stock contact. In a similar way to the V block designs used by AICS, HS Precision and other alloy chassis, the PSE stock are improved with bedding.
  13. The difference in weight is an ounce or so, bettween the non and folding stocks Resale time the folder is more desirable....
  14. The bare PSE E tac 3 weighed 900 grams - there is no flex in the E tac. A comparable Mcmillan (A5 or Manners T2 for example) are heavier and not as stiff. Ive owned several Mcmillan and Manners stocks on various rifles ive built, the PSe are lighter (like for like)
  15. Had some feed back from the owner of the rifle, who has been busy load testing. First three shot group with the rifle after barrel break in; Second Sadly one shot pulled but a ten round group with the same load; it appears to shoot
  16. Thank you The rifle now has a Nightforce 5.5 - 22 scope attached and weighs 13 lbs I think the rifle without weighed a little over 10 lbs without scope, rings or sling.
