  4. Mate you need to look at how much they are new …… if you can get one way too cheap
  5. I just can’t seem to successfully log-on , every time just locks up . For me the site is still a problem , but it just looks prettier.
  6. I use 80 grn eld m with N140 and get 2910 fps from 24” bart’ln barrel 1-7
  7. I have one of the new Thermion 2 Pro LRF XP50 I like it lots , performance is brilliant but , for me it’s got to fit into traditional mounts and have a similar feel to a day scope , I also have mine in a Innomount QR as I swap them around depending on what rifle/calibre I intend to use. so for the time being I will stick to my Pulsar . If it’s what I call a “ pard type mounting I have no interest personally and I don’t care who made them or how good they , that was the one big pain in my @Rse with the Drone when they came out , I hated mine with a passion in the end ha ha . Finding the right thermal can be a bit of a nightmare, I’ve owned 4 different types . i currently have Thermion 2 Pro LRF XP50 / Helion pro XP50 and am very happy . so if you want any info on those particular thermals I will help in anyway I can on the information front of things . but one of the things I learned . And gets so overlooked when choosing the the right type of thermal Look at the typical layout of your land if yours is like where I live and you only have about 3 hills in the entire county then you want to be looking at the best you can get for the very top end of your budget for shooting and scanning over those big fields . if all you have is rolling countryside and hills and houses and all sorts of other crap in the way , end result being shorter distances 100/200 max then most of the brands higher spec models should do the job . you really need to be trying a few of what your like If possible of course.
  8. Quite a few horror stories going about , BR primers will, cost you around the £15 per /100 this has been discussed for over a month on SD
  9. Walther Stainless. no more accurate than the Sassen but the walther will be bulletproof and will last you a longtime.
  10. Make sure you get the wind shield for it as well . Forget that ………..small breeze break comes as standard. I would drop Adam a quick mail to find out waiting times , as you may have to wait a while if he’s busy .
  11. Very good if you have a 1-7 twist. If you have 1-8 it’s touch and go , your just have to give them a go . I would obviously recommend for paper/steel targets and they will NOT expand at all , there a tough bullet for sure .
  12. Just wondering if anyone has bought one ? For a good long while now the main gripe people had with the Thermions was no LFR , so like I say just wondering who’s pulled the trigger on one now that option is available . If you have what’s your verdict?
  13. I see Sako have finished chambering rifles in .204
  14. I have seen it twice at two different events and there were both banned immediately, but it’s always too late after it’s happened . I watched one chap actually opening his bolt with a rubber mallet . He was gone inside 2 mins . But as I say it’s always too late after it’s happened.
  15. they have been doing this at large CPSA events and championships for years , its about time the rest caught up . I for one am fed up with being stuck next to some 🐓sucker who does not understand the boundaries of there homeloads/calibre .bring it on I say 👍
  16. I will ask some questions on my next range day , our club sec is a very clued up good egg of a chap .
  17. Pops , I can remember us all being told that any 7.92 Mauser shooters to leave them at home as they will not be allowed to use them , AFAIK it’s the same for Barton road .
