He might still be doing the AI Tac Brake Moderator’s though?? -
If I remember you can buy them direct from the states and just get them shipped over. I bought two years ago to try. Never did, sold one and kept hold of one. But haven’t yet used it. I’ll have a think if I’m ever likely to use it and let you know in due course.

I’ve ping’ed you his details.

It is. You can either contact S&B Germany send it back through them direct. Or contact Adam at S&B UK. Either way it will have to go back to Germany. They will have to scope 2-3 weeks and last time I enquired (sometime this year) it cost €663.21 plus any licensing fee if you get the MSR ret for example. I looked into but it all depends how much you bought it for in the first place. You might be better off selling your privately and getting a new one with what you want. Mark

If you wanted something similar, but going for the 5-25, rather than the high power. I know you can order them with them with the new MSR 2 reticle. https://finnaccuracy.com/blogs/fa-news/msr2-available-soon This would be my choice.

There is a thread in here somewhere discussing it. In answer to your question yes the LRR ret is thinner than the P4FL. The LRR ret is 0.02 mils thick the later is 0.04 mils. So half the thickness of that. https://www.schmidtundbender.de/images/stories/absehen/datasheet/datasheet-lrr-mil.pdf https://www.schmidtundbender.de/images/stories/absehen/datasheet/datasheet-p4fl.pdf I strongly advise you get behind one before spending any money. Like all things reticles are personal opinion. My thoughts are that it’s far too fine. I don’t like it, it gets lost very easily. It’s only saving grace is that it’s new day light bright illumination, which you NEED. Otherwise you would struggle to see in at certain mag ranges and backgrounds. That said I’ve only used the 5-25 model. Apparently it’s much better on the high power models which make sense. Here is also a magazine review specifically on the LRR ret: https://www.gunmart.net/scopes-and-optics/scopes/rifle-scopes/scmidt-bender-5-25x56-pmii

Tikka t3 action screw torque??
markymark replied to T3_tinker's topic in Varmint Rifles & Heavy Plinkers
No need for loctite. You might find that it’s not located properly into where it needs to be and not seated into its lug. Also check your using the right screw front / back. This happened to me once, I have no idea why. But stripped again, reseated and had no issues. Plastic stock rifles with floating lug: 35 inch-lbs ● Plastic stock with floating lug, bedded: 55 inch-lbs ● Plastic stock rifle, unbedded: 40-45 inch-lbs ● Glass stock rifle with unknown fill: 40-45 inch-lbs ● Glass stock rifle with ali chassis: 55-60 inch-lbs ● Wood stock rifle with floating lug: 35 inch-lbs ● Wood stock, bedded or unbedded but without pillars: 40-45 inch-lbs ● Wood stock rifle, pillar bedded: 55-60 inch-lbs ● Laminate stock rifle, bedded or unbedded but without pillars: 40-45 inch-lbs ● Laminate pillar bedded rifle: 55-60 inch-lbs ● Ali chassis/tube rifle: 55-60 inch-lbs -

Whats your thoughts of the new LRR reticle? I assume you liked it and have looked through it if you’ve ordered two?? I just read a good article in this months shooting sports magazine reviewing the S&B 5-25 PMii, specifically with the LRR ret. Would you agree with the findings?

Sellier and bellot 6.5 creedmoor
markymark replied to Soggy biscuit's topic in Varmint Rifles & Heavy Plinkers
To anyone who is interested, the topic at hand the S&B Creedmoor ammo. Is it worth it? I’m undecided. I believe it’s marketed as a training round or plinking ammo. It’s not target minded I don’t think just being FMJ. Out of a 26” plus a moddy it meters in at 2734fps with a “ok” BC of 0.51. Strelok tells me this gets me out to 900m supersonic. Unknown transonic performance. Compare this to Norma, 130gr which it quite hot at 2930 FPS with a BC of 0.548. This gets me out to 1100m supersonic. Ultimately the Norma and hornady options are better options.... but certainly more expensive. Average accuracy is seen with the S&B, I consistently grouped 1” with it. Ultimately the user needs to decide what accuracy they are happy with. Both Norma & hornady group 0.5-0.8” respectively. I’m struggling to see where the S&B falls in. Gets you out to most distances on Bisley, but when wanting to stretch the legs of it to it’s full potential (let’s say visiting Orion) there is clearly better options. For me, I can defo see a Home for S&B to run a barrel in far cheaper. But unless I’ve top shelf speed & accuracy, the whole reason I’ve got a 6.5CM barrel then I’m going to use my .308 as a training round and save the barrel burning Creedmoor for extended ranges. -
https://coletac.eu/ Completely custom. Once you’ve choosen your model, chose colour of fabric, thread colour etc.... made to measure to fit any mod. Would recommend
