  1. Can I ask your barrel length to achieve that velocity?
  2. This is still being made, however now under their Tac Optics line: https://www.bushnell.com/products/riflescopes/tac-optics/tac-optics-lrs-riflescopes-6-24x50/ Offers Welcomed
  3. Looking forward to Laurie’s thoughts on this........
  4. I think sporting services also stock grovtec sling swivels, if they are open or answering phones at the moment I don’t know.
  5. They are not that accessible here in the U.K. with only one place I know stocking them. With that, might not be a huge U.K. knowledge base on them. I like you would be keen hear any local thoughts and opinions. That said, plenty of threads, info & opinions over on the hide.
  6. Bushnell Tactical Elite 6-24x50 ERS Model ET6245FG 30mm main tube FFP G2 Reticle Mil (5 mils per rev) parallax down to 25 yards. For me it was used as a Rimfire scope and was perfect, but would equally be suited to centre fire. Very lightweight scope. For the money excellent glass and reticle. Comes boxed, but no paperwork / instructions or sunshade. As you see it. Will not include the Tier one mounts in the picture. Show some signs of use. All seen in the pictures. Still very good condition. Pictures taken to show light marks, since then a black sharpie has gone over any light silver bits and looks great now. Eyepiece lens completely unmarked. Objective lens, one tiny tiny scratch that the camera can’t even pick up about 0.5cm long. Doesn’t effect viewing at all. Any questions please ask. Looking for £450 delivered. Obviously with times as they are, will have to allow some time for it to be shipped once purchased. Hopefully will be prompt but can’t be guaranteed.
  7. For those who didn’t / haven’t: Dear NRA Member Coronavirus Update: 18th March 2020 Please see below the latest update which has been posted on the NRA website and other social media platforms this afternoon: The National Rifle Association and National Shooting Centre continue to closely monitor updates from the statutory authorities and Chief Medical Officers. Our rifle and shotgun ranges are open and will remain so as long as:- we have sufficient staff to ensure range safety and proper levels of service; there are sufficient shooters to justify the staff resources; and the statutory authorities do not issue advice that we should close. We are determined to offer target shooters the opportunity to enjoy open spaces, fresh air, and challenging shooting at Bisley to enhance their well-being during these challenging times. Please note the following:- Spring Action Weekend (SAW) / Historic Service Rifle Match (HSRM) The SAW and HSRM (28th / 29th March 2020) have been cancelled because of the high concentrations of shooters and ROs on firing points. All entry fees will be refunded or credited in full. Other NRA Competitions and Training Courses All other NRA competitions (Imperial, Phoenix etc.) and training courses are scheduled as normal; we will keep this under constant review. Pavilion and Clays Cafés Both cafés will be closed from Monday 23rd March 2020 until further notice, in line with government advice that such facilities should be avoided. Social Distancing Shooters are advised to follow the latest government advice on social distancing, and be thoughtful about the number of firers on targets. Anti-Viral Cleaning We have increased the cleaning regime for frequently touched surfaces, including reception areas, ablutions, hire rifles and shotguns, shooting mats, range radios and ear defenders. Vulnerable Groups Shooters should familiarise themselves with the latest guidance about groups most at risk from the virus before travelling to Bisley. How is it spread? The spread of COVID-19 is most likely to happen when there is close contact (within 2 metres) with an infected person. It is likely that the risk increases the longer someone has close contact with an infected person. What to do if you or a visitor begin to feel unwell: Should any individual feel unwell, particularly if they are experiencing a dry cough or high temperature, they must not travel to Bisley but should follow government guidelines about self-isolation or call the NHS 111 phone service. Anyone entering the main public areas – range office, reception or Clays – showing signs of coughing or flu like symptoms, will be politely asked to withdraw from counters or leave the building Handwashing and Hygiene: We are all advised to maintain a good handwashing hygiene routine. Wash your hands often with soap and water, or an alcohol sanitiser if handwashing facilities are unavailable. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue then throw the tissue into the bin. Remember the saying “Catch It, Bin It, Kill It.” Surfaces Sanitising: Viruses can be transferred to and by peoples’ hands; therefore regular hand hygiene and cleaning of frequently touched surfaces will help to reduce the risk of infection. Facemasks: NRA staff are advised not to wear facemasks as protection against the virus. Facemasks are recommended to be worn by symptomatic individuals to reduce the risk of transmitting the infection to other people. Further details can be found https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
  8. Did you receive the email from the NRA today on COVID-19?
  9. Carries no brand. Made by a U.K. machinist using T6 aluminium, bead blasted then hardcoat anodised black. I could get pics of one fitted to my rifle if you like? I ordered two with the assumption of picking up a second Tikka T1X. For now that’s not happening so this is up for sale. Let me know if I can help you with anything else?
  10. Left side windage? With the parallax at the top, and all other adjustments made with your left hand being able to stay on the rifle is a very smart idea. One which I wish more manufacturers would do.
  11. .22LR ammo for sale, perfect for anyone with a new rifle who wants to find out which ammo works in their rifle. 100 x CCI Subsonic HP (40gr) 50 x RWS Subsonic HP (40gr) 89 x Winchester Subsonic HP (42gr) 50 x CCI segmented HP (40gr) 50 x Eley subsonic HP (38gr) Would be over £45 if bought. £35 collected from Frimley Surrey or Bisley.
  12. 1kg tub of N150. I bought this powder a couple of weeks ago for £89. I used it to load 6 rounds for the creedmoor for load development. I couldn't achieve the desired velocity with the powder so as result it is up for sale. Off the top of my head it was manufactured around June 2019. Due to using only 226grains of powder, this still have over 0.99kg left in the tub. Ie as new. Can be collected from Firmley Surrey or from Bisley with an FAC. Looking for £75
  13. For sale, metal bottom metal for the Tikka T1X. Fits all Tikka T3 / T1X stocks..... however will only work in conjunction with Tikka T1X barrel action.....not T3's Great if you have an aftermarket stock for your Tikka T1X, because as I found out Torquing down on factory plastic bottom metal will cause your rear action screw to foul with your bolt, and damage / compress the plastic one. New condition. £65 posted.
  14. Hello, For sale: 1 x Bushnell MGM Switchview throw lever for 34mm Bushnell scopes such as the DMR/ERS or XRS. 1 x Sniper Hider Sunshade for the Bushnell 50mm Objectives. Fits the DMR/ERS/XRS models. May fit other Bushnell models but can't guarantee it. It may also fit other brands of scopes with 50mm objectives but again I'm not sure. Both items in as new condition. Only selling due to scope being sold.
  15. I’ve worked up a 0.5” inch load @ 100m. Have yet to use them on deer or tested their drops / groups out at longer ranges. Will report when I do.
  16. Bushnell Elite Tactical DMR 3.5-21x50 ET35215G G2 Ret, FFP, 34mm tube, Mils, locking turrets etc Boxed as it would come new with Bikini covers & sunshade, paperwork etc. Lens in perfect condition, tracks true and in excellent condition. Only on tiny mark pictured, on the underside of the eyepiece. Truly brilliant scope for the money, and punch’s far above its weight in its class.
  17. Use both. Both have pros and cons. The 3M’s are a better ear defender, by that I mean they are better at blocking out sound and seal better IMO. However I feel the mic’s are better on the MSA’s and have better sound / situational awareness and can pin point where noise is coming from better. The peltors are thicker in profile and interfere more with rifle stocks, where as the MSA’s are thinner (most likely why the peltors are better at attenuating noise) Both are comfy and good to wear for extended period of times. You can’t go wrong with either which in a way is good.
