  1. I just discovered the full description of this is: IOR Operator 6-24×50 Illuminated SFP SH4 MOA Riflescope plus Tier One 35mm Rings. I paid £1200 for it when new, but I have no idea what it's worth now, so sensible offers are invited. Pete
  2. SH4 reticle, comes with Tier One 35mm rings and sun shade. Light signs of use, pristine glass. £800 posted. PM in first instance. Pete
  3. We're downsizing to 6mm, so one of the very nice Bergara blanks for sale. Plenty of meat for the fluters out there. 28" overall.....see sketch. £230 posted PM in first instance. Pete
  4. Here you go: https://www.bushwear.co.uk/products/tipton-tipton-snap-cap-rifle-223-rem-2pk Pete
  5. Despite having a receiver that looks like it's been made out of a scrap car door using tinsnips and a hammer, it really does look like a helluva lot of fun......! If ONLY it could be full auto........ Pete
  6. I have one of these in 52": https://www.opticswarehouse.co.uk/ridgeline-tactical-sniper-drag-bag-47-inch It comes with a removable rucksack Pete
  7. No, it's an old one I already had, designed to give a full size view of a Nikon camera viewfinder image. See here: https://nikon-film.com/product/nikon-dr-3-right-angle-viewfinder/ It has diopter adjustment, so it does improve the view through the Hawkeye, especially since I normally wear glasses (long sighted), and makes inspection with the rifle laying horizontally more comfortable. Scroll down this page: http://www.photographers-resource.co.uk/photography/Accessories/Right-Angled_Viewfinder.htm until you reach the Seagull model. A mate had one on a Hawkeye, 2.5x mag.......they show up used on ebay for £20 or so. Pete
  8. OK Chuckle Brothers, if you have a Hawkeye and you want a right angled finder for it, (and believe me, you do...), then here you go: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=right+angled+viewfinder&_sacat=0 You'll need to knock up an adapter to screw it on the Hawkeye is all... Pete
  9. Comes with an additional right-angled finder and adapter (Nikon), which makes it a bit more comfortable to use. £425 posted (UK mainland) Will ship abroad. Pete
  10. Does he still handle them? We could do with a replacement 308 bolt head for ours (also from Stuart). Pete
  11. Sorry guys, this is withdrawn for the time being.......we have more pressing issues at the moment. Pete
  12. Less than 1000 rounds through it, you can still see the button marks...............see bore pics. Stored since it was replaced with a 6BR barrel. 30" 1:12 twist, excellent with RS52 and 155 Scenars. Got to be worth £100 to someone, or try an offer? Collect at Bisley, or RFD transfer. Pete
  13. The Palma stock is very desirable but a tad expensive......we went with a Form adjustable stock. If buying a used mod 12, bear in mind that the action screw centres on the older ones are different to the later versions. We discovered this when we tried to get a Palma stock for ours. Pete
  14. Plus 1 for the Savage......we've had a model 12 FTR for 12 years now. With 308. 6BR, and 6.5x47 barrels, which are easy to swap. Three rifles for the price of one (well, maybe not quite....) Pete
  15. + 1 for the Eye......been a subscriber for donkeys years. Pete
  16. Just look at the way different newspapers/news channels and the way their correspondents present the news. I've followed this blog for years now, and it's been a real eye-opener. Here's an example: https://www.medialens.org/ https://www.medialens.org/2023/harry-the-traitor-and-lynch-the-grinch-the-corporate-medias-automatic-smear-machine/ Pete
  17. Well Hersh is a respected Pulitzer prizewinning reporter, so by definition, there would be a lot of people in the corporate media trying to discredit him. https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/seymour-hersh-breaks-my-lai-story Pete
  18. Check this out..........particularly the comments made by the second speaker in the debate, Sarah Jones, in the third paragraph of her spiel.......that probably applies to the majority of firearms office personnel. Many of them don't know one end of a gun from the other....... https://hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2023-02-21/debates/1CD386F0-B1D6-424E-9C85-E4F2C6D7B6CD/PlymouthShooting Pete ps: And why should applying for a shotgun be different to applying for any other firearm?
  19. And who might have blown up Nordstream 2........ https://www.medialens.org/2023/a-beautiful-outpouring-of-rage-the-observer-the-great-peace-march-and-nord-stream/ Pete
