  1. Brogan has just sold on here a super rifle that would have been perfect for you. I believe he has some other .308's. Drop him a PM. I will also ask about for you as there may be some others that are available. Ewen
  2. They are awesome bullets, we have used them in 3 calibres now and found them all superb Ewen
  3. If you dont mind giving a hint towards your budget, then other better suggestions may be possible as well. Ewen
  4. The 204 Ruger is a short to mid range varmint calibre, it is definitely NOT a long-range target calibre. Ewen
  5. Just to be clear this clear. This comes with two barrels of needed, one with 813 rounds and another brand new, is that correct? Ewen
  6. Amazing bargain and PERFECT rifle for a new person to FTR. You would never need to upgrade from this. ewen
  7. This was its first time back for years and it was great fun, didn't interfere much with shooting (we even had a marriage of shooters on Stix) and was brilliant for the NSC and the clubhouses. Great time with some lovely people passionate about their hobby, Ewen
  8. HI, that's fantastic news that your daughter is enjoying the sport. A friend of ours is just back from the South African open where his 13 year old daughter took gold in a stage beating everybody, we are all super proud of her. I don't want to piss on your chips, but don't want you wasting money either. A .223 can be competitive but it needs a very fast twist barrel, the correct throat and carefully loaded ammo. In addition you mention a "target" rifle, if this is a TR style rifle (shot from a sling) then it may not be suitable to take either the scope or the bipod, I would just check on these first. Other than that I wish her all the best and look forward to seeing her on the point. p.s do you make it to Bisley to shoot, if so let us know and we can try and organise for some other youngsters to be about in order to make her feel as welcome as possible. Ewen
  9. I have been tested twice at Bisley. The checks are done on the spot. A round is pulled and weighed and a round is chronographed. It is to check and control the HME procedure. Ewen
