EMC
Hi guys. I want to build a rifle for elr competitions. What rifle builders do you recommend? Thank you
OSOK
Callum or Pete Walker .... For ELR then Pete but it depends on what your calling ELR ? OSOK

EMC
I've talked to Mik these days, but he doesn't have the action I want for the rifle. They take a year to arrive. I would like it to be him, the builder since he has a good reputation. Although I don't know other people.

Scotch_egg
Getting actions is the issue. You could try a personal import from America. You could even have the rifle built over there.
furrybean
A while ago I think Callum had a Bigfoot action in stock
OSOK
I know Pete has a large BAT action which was one of two supplied to him aimed at ELR ... I'm sure it's on a 375 bolt face and not a 338 though ? OSOK
EMC
Hello. Peter walker told me he can't take my project. He has a job for 2 years. I think I will have to delay construction until next year.

martin_b
Theres a .408Cheytec on Guntrader, with Dies, cases , bipod etc.. That would keep you going for a while 🙂
Ronin
You could look at importing your own action from the States, but it’s likely that it would take almost as long to get the paperwork and importation process complete as it would for any RFD to source one for you There are many alternatives to BAT actions that are as well put together Unless you “have” to have Bat because you have planned a chassis or stock around this Barnard P (Lapua bolt face) , Borden BRXMD is offered in Lapua Bolt Face Both would be serious contenders against a BAT The Barnard coming with a world class trigger makes them a very attractive consideration
EMC
I live in Spain and the maximum authorized caliber is a 338. There are no rifle builders here. People bring them from the UK or Italy. It's a lot of grinding and waiting time, but it's what we have. I am talking to several companies for the rifle. I'll be counting. Thank you very much for the help
