shooter83
Was given some aluminium so decided to machine up an adjustable bag rider to go on me MDT ESS. I used what ever I had in me workshop. Took it down to the tunnel at rifleman's and was pleasantly surprised at how it affected the accuracy and ease of keeping me aim. Prior to this I was using a monopod which was a nightmare with the saum. With this, I get a nice back and forth motion in me rear bag and the rifle isn't jumping all over the shop. I managed a decent enough 3 shot group at 100m. But need to find a bushing die to sort out me neck tension to close the group a bit more. Catch-22
Yeah, that looks like a nice job. And great results on paper too! Those mono pods are just a complete pile of $hite - I have zero idea why anyone buys them?!? 🤨
Leeman
You could also modify that slightly and have an adjustable cheekpiece riser, once the stock was cut on a bandsaw and inletted. I think I paid around about a hundred quid a few years ago to obtain one.

Timbo1963
Nice job and very satisfying to do it yourself. I assume you used the Long Shot Precision one as inspiration? How much did you do it for, I think Spud is asking £300+. One day I may find room and money to set up a proper workshop.
shooter83
Cost me a few quid as most of it was free. Only paid for the bearings. Took me a couple of hours to make.

Jeffo1960
I'd be interested in 1 as well to fit an mdt Ess if you decide to make them
