  1. 57grs of N165 pushed the 162gr amaxs about 2950fps from a 26 inch barrel on a warm day going by what my bal cal tells me from entering the correct weather condition when it was zeroed.i chronied them at 2860fps in the cool winter temps.it shoots like a laser out to 600yds and tried a few at 1000yds that were ??.I use 180gr hybrids and 180gr scenar l's for shooting paper.
  2. N165 will do you fine.the 180gr eld m isn't the choice of match shooters as yet.i will try some at some point out of curiosity.
  3. Saves me changing over to the 123s and I will stick with the 139s.thanks for the info.
  4. So when it comes to shooting in the internationals they won' be able to use them so why bother unless the rules get changes to keep up with the times
  5. I like reloading.gives me something to do in the evenings and on wet weekends.i don't do load development like some do.i load up 5 or 6 different loads to try and the best one I go with. I don't load like 50.0 50.2 50.4 50.6 etc If I find my load is a touch warm that shot really well I download it 0.2grs and try it again another time as i dont have a range near to do it.all my testing gets done across the fields.
  6. Sometimes I do wonder why I reload when somebody beats me using factory ammo.fortunetley that does happen very often.generally I fire too many shots to use factory ammo.my time reloading doesn't cost anything
  7. I entered them speeds in but current temperatures reduced them quite a bit but it should be relative ish
  8. The difference in windrift with between a 139gr scenar doing 2600 and 2750fps is around 6 inches in a 10mph wind
  9. Ive not really looked into the annealing much and I do fancy Giving it a go now.how do i know what tempilag stuff I need.i would be doing 7mm saum Remmy and Norma brass .284 and 6.5x47 lapua brass
