" Similar to Hornady A-Tip in style but much cheaper. " What sort of price are the 155's? I can't find any pricing on the website.

Like Andrew and DogyRog I've been shooting 44mag for over 40 years, S&W model 29 pistol back in the sensible days, 8gr of Unique was an excellent load with a 200gr cast bullet. Nowadays I run 2 Henry BigBoys, their preferred bullet is a 240gr RNFP from ShellHouse Bullets sized at .430 over 6.2gr of GM3, a nice accurate load. I also use a case mouth flaring die and separate bullet seating and factory crimping dies.

As above, RWS make very good quality cases, a couple of years ago you could easily pick up ex-NRA Match 308 for about £10/100 at Bisley

6.5C shoots very nicely with N140 using 100 - 120gr bullets. I use it with Scenar 100gr and use N150 for the heavier 139gr Scenars and 140gr Nosler CC.

Not all scopes are ITAR restricted, only scopes with electronic image enhancement or those specifically designed for use by the military. Scopes for use on sporting firearms are not restricted. Optics Planet for example will ask you to sign a US DOC certificate stating the end destination, this is free of charge. Many other suppliers don't. Here's the relevant info, https://www.ecfr.gov/cgi-bin/text-idx?rgn=div5&node=22:1.0.1.13.58#22:1.0.1.13.58.0.31.1 Go to 121.1, Category I, Section (f): (f) Riflescopes manufactured to military specifications (See category XII(c) for controls on night sighting devices.)

The latest part of the ECRA (Export Control Reform Act) became law on August 13, 2018, it's been an ongoing stage by stage process since 2013. However, reading through it (about as clear as mud) there are no specific references to firearm parts/spares or reloading components etc.

6.5 Creedmoor - pierced primer at 41.5gr RS62?
phaedra1106uk replied to MichalS's topic in Handloading
Friend just had his Begara B14-BMP returned for piercing primers, not a hot load being used, 35.5gr of N150 with a 139gr Scenar. He was told the distributor had "done something to the bolt face and firing pin". Took it out last Sunday and got another pierced primer in the first 10 rounds. Rifle is going back. -

Sloppy firing pin - any UK remedies?
phaedra1106uk replied to MikeJ's topic in Varmint Rifles & Heavy Plinkers
Vihts max load for the Sierra 168 is 42.6 so that's pretty close, however Vihts data is usually slightly on the conservative side. The 175 however is 2.6gr above max recommended. https://www.vihtavuori.com/reloading-data/rifle-reloading/?cartridge=30- 18 replies

Loading the 6.5CREEDMOOR whith diferents powders...
phaedra1106uk replied to BERGEON's topic in Handloading
Thanks Primer pockets are nice and tight, only once fired on the ones in question. Could well be the Muroms, I didn't have any problems using the Federal primers and as I said there's a marked drop in velocity with them. Unfortunately my son did me a "good deed" and deprimed our days worth of cases and stuck them in the SS wet tumbler while I was having a nap!. I still have 50 rounds loaded with the KVB223M's, we're at Ponteland range next Sunday so I'll load up a batch with KVB223's and Federal 205's and compare them.
