  1. Images sent in PM not going through so hopefully these will. Original Tikka Tac A1 Grip AGR-13 Fitted to Bergara B14 - BMP Agr-13 Cut - Side View AGR-13 Cut - Top View Hope thse help
  2. I like the grip on my Tikka Tac A1 so much I've sourced and fitted the same grip on my other rifles. It's a larger rubberised grip (I have big hands!) with an internal storage space for batteries etc. They are widely known as AGR-43, I bought 5 from Ali Express (China) very cheaply but they're not listing them now. These are exactly the same grip as the Tikka but without the Tikka logo on them, quite a few UK shooting shops sell them for about £30 The tang (back strap) cuts off easily if you don't want it. Here's a link to Krale who have them for £11.56, they are exactly the same grip. https://www.krale.shop/uk/grip-element-agr-43-black/
  3. Tried to buy a 1400 bullets off him in Dec 2020 but was moving premises to Seale and was told his RFD was being processed by a new police force so he couldn't use his Parcelforce account to ship them??? Tried getting in touch a couple of times after that but never got replies to emails. Ended up ringing the distributor abd bought a lot more from them directly. Website stock list is 7 weeks out of date so I'd try emailing or ringing first to check he has what you're after before ordering.
  4. Short answer is no, bullets and brass cases are still prohibited from export from the USA without an export license under ITAR. Penalties for ignoring this are at a Federal level so pretty serious.
  5. StarLine make excellent brass. I use it in both my 6.5 Creedmoors and my 44 underlevers. I've used both small and large primer versions, for my use (Viht N150) the large primer is a better choice. My current cases are on there 6th firing, annealed at 4 firings, no prblerms with them at all. I shot a 10 round single ragged 8 to 9mm hole group at my local tunnel range about a week ago using them.
  6. You're lucky your not in Durham! I'm secretary of a shooting club, I sent the club FAC for a simple 1 for 1 (sold a .30 mod wanted a .223 mod) 1. They sent me back a copy of my own personal FAC with the variation to acquire the 223 moderator on it, a calibre for a firearm I don't even have on my FAC! 2. They didn't remove a firearm I'd sold and notified them of in June 3. They didn't add the 2 firearms I'd purchased in the last 8 months that I'd also notified them of. 4. They removed the 3 empty slots I had on it for 2 riles and a moderator. So now I have to assume that the details held on the NFLMS database for my personal FAC are completely wrong Tried phoning them several times a day for over a week, nobody answers the phone. Emailed them about it over a week ago, no reply apart from the automated "we got your email" response. Absolute incompetence

  14. So, just had another email from Henry. The reason for the new barrel is because they don't have stock of the older type mag tubes. The new ones have a different fitting system so require a new type barrel and fitting. Looking at the Henry videos the mag tube is held by a single screw under the trigger plate so a diassembly/reassembly required to get to it. I'll take my tube out and see if I can repair it, either epoxy some heatshrink or try and get a metal sleeve to go over it (17mm i/d)
  15. Anyone know how to remove/replace a Henry Big Boy (H006) outer mag tube? Mine has developed a split where the inner tube locks into place. I contacted Henry and they offered to send the parts to Viking Arms for repair under warranty. Viking have been in touch and say it will require a new barrel, outer mag tube, inner mag tube, gunsmithing and re-proofing of the rifle and it will cost me, along with carriage/RFD charges of course! From what I can find online (not a lot) the tube is in no way connected to the barrel and is held in place (in the receiver) with a simple push pin or screw. Given that Viking are the UK importers I'm surprised they don't know that. Photo attached showing the splits, I may see if I can just get it welded or even epoxied.
  16. Just been through this with Durham (useless!) As Dodgyrog said our club's monitored alarm has gone off twice in the last year, neither time did they send anyone out or even bother to ring the secretary etc. to see what was going on. I asked for a mod on my club FAC and got a call saying the HO guidance says you have to have an alarm for more than 10 (which it doesn't). I explained that even if it did say that it specifically states that when adding things up moderators (as well as spare barrels and cylinders) are not to be counted. FAC came back from being varied without the required slot for the moderator and also missing the empty slot for a 308 to replace one I'd just transferred. Sent it back again and had to email them again yesterday as they've had it for 26 days. It only took a week for the original variation (which they got wrong), had a reply saying it was with the decision makers and should be done in the next 2 weeks. This is a 1 for 1 for exactly the same calibre rifle I already had on it!
  17. Forget the car polish, a squirt of w/up liquid and a 1/4 teaspoon of citric acid crystals (off Ebay) to help soften the water and they'll come out nice and clean. I de-prime my cases then my larger F/A tumbler takes about 30-45mins to run an initial clean (using 1.5mm steel ball bearings). That gets the cases more then clean enough to re-size, prep and inspect before a final 30min clean.
  18. Anyone know anyone who can re-assemble/re-fit a Handi Rifle trigger? prefferably in the North East or nearby or I can post it. Was shooting Monday evening and a part has came out, doesn't appear to be broken and there's a small pin which looks like it usually holds it in place. I've been having problems with certain primers taking 2 whacks to go off so also have a new firing pin I need fitting at the same time. I've looked at the online videos etc. but none show the final re-fitting stage clearly enough for me to attempt it. This is the part. Attachments H andi Rifle Bit.jpg 360.6 KB · Views: 3
