  1. But when you factor in the carriage cost, these might work out cheaper.
  2. Try looking on their website...... https://www.livens.co.uk/?s=atlas+bipod&post_type=product
  3. You might want to contact Livens direct, because the post was originally put on 3 years ago....!!!!
  4. Hi there, I'll take the .308 Redding Deluxe 3 Die Set - FL Sizing Die, Micrometer Seating Die, Neck Sizing Die and Hornady Custom .308 Case - 85 GBP posted, please. PM me your payment details. Cheers Paul
  5. If you have another, I’d like one of these as well, please. PM me with payment details. Cheers. Paul
  6. Leeman, That's a fair point, but some of these 25 yard targets are inward scoring and the "x" can be extremely difficult to cover without catching the outer line so, to me, finer is better.
  7. While you're up at Diggle, call into Osprey Rifles and have a word with Stuart, he should be able to put you straight. Cheers. Paul
  8. Just a thought, but.....if you're going to use that amount of magnification at those distances, the target is going to be rather close up, so I might suggest a scope with 1/8th MOA clicks would be better suited, rather than 1/4 MOA and definitely much better than any Mil clicks. That should give you a better target acquisition in my opinion. Good luck with whatever you choose and try to see if you can have alook through some of your fellow shooters scopes. Cheers. Paul
  9. I have the Sporter model and it isn't designed for use with a moderator fitted. I tend to develop my loads with the mod or muzzle break I'm going to use on the rifle and when I've found an accurate load, I simply remove it and then Chrono the load, much like Pat has said, there's not too much difference in FPS then. It's a great piece of kit, which is great value for money, in my opinion. Hope this helps. Cheers. Paul
  10. Hi there Al. Just to add my two penneth to the above statements of records held by the 6.5x47 Lapua, I can also agree that they really are everything and more you can expect in terms of accuracy, as I hold the current UK Benchrest record for the highest score at 1,000 yards, with a 98 ex 100, with 11 x V-Bulls, again this was done with my 6.5x47.
  11. Do you mind me asking what rifle you had this done to and how much it cost, please? Is it an easy fix, or did you have to takeit to Baldie? I've got a Tikka 595 in 6BR and it's an absolute joy to own and use, but the mag feed issue does bug me, I have to say. Cheers. Paul
  12. That's really sad news. I've had many good deals and conversations with him over the years. RIP Steve.
  13. Hi Neil, Thank you very much for your detailed information, it's much appreciated. I think I'll bear in mind what you have said and work uploads starting at 8.3 up to 10.1 in 0.3 increments and keep checking for pressure signs. I'm not sure how hard the bullet is, but it is RNFP, lubed and gas checked. I have bought these from the Shellhouse Bullet Company and not cast them myself. Hopefully things should be good. Many thanks Paul
  14. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for acquiring load data for a 165gn lead bullet in my Marlin 30/30 underlever, please? I have checked in the Lyman cast bullet handbook, but there is only data for 169gn & 170gn. I'll be using Alliant Unique powder and want to get things as good as I can before load development. Many thanks Paul
  15. Just contact Dave Wylde - Valkyrie Rifles - 9-5 Monday to Friday - 07889 388378. https://www.valkyrierifles.net/index.html Also known as Baldie on this forum. He's the only officially approved service centre for Accuracy International and he can supply and fit any barrel you choose onto your AX AI rifle, which includes Sassen. He's a great bloke, who'll talk you through everything. Cheers Paul
  16. Hi there How much for the 30/30 and what will it come with? cheers paul
  17. I'd like to think one of these might be mine, Lubo..... Cheers. Paul
  18. Or you could try Dave Wylde @ Valkyrie Rifles near Barnsley. He is also on here aka Baldie. Good luck and enjoy.
  19. Hi everyone. Looking on QuickLoad it shows good results with Viht 140 and 130gn TMK, 139gn Scenars or 140gn ELD-Match so I was just wondering if it's worth pursuing as I haven't heard or read of anyone using this.... Cheers Paul
  20. +2 on that one. I'm quite a Luddite when it comes to technology, so I'd also be happy to pay to have these made. It would make my life so much easier.... Just my thoughts. Cheers. Paul
  21. Some lovely looking works of art, you have sir. Quite like the front rest as well...I don't suppose it's needing a new home by any chance!!!
