Lovely sunny day in november then out of no where a sh*t storm gathered, best shooting ive ever had in a force 5 gale, when that photo was taken it was clearing up and it was brillant sunshire that evening! My brother rang me from the deep South (Te Anau, Fiordland) to say he'd blooded the deer rifle I built for his son. 11pt red stag just on dusk but he was eventually forced to leave the rear wheels behind as it was totally dark and very steep bush. Out of town at a meeting today but they'll be nicely refrigerated when he collects them tomorrow.
