dylan5588
TBS Boar non locking folder from The Bushcraft store. Mine is the Matt black micarta model, fantastic little knife that thinks its a big knife. classic looks, Skandi Grind, Hair shavingly sharp out of the box. I just love it. Small enough for the pocket yet capable of skinning a deer. We became best friends very quickly! http://www.thebushcraftstore.co.uk/non-locking-knives-282-c.asp Adrian
Mauser3006
Check this out! Looks pretty cool, I think that things might have gone seriously pear shaped if you needed it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Zsp79ea79Es The main review from another forum says ...Wilderness Survival Card - I thought it was a gimmick & after about 5 weeks of waiting I gave up & thought I had been robbed of my $2.95, but now about 7 weeks after ordering it Arrived! And a lot better then expected, steel looks good, items are sharp, feels like each item would/could do its intended job. I have not taken it apart as I got only one, but will order some more now you can order like 5 at once for about $16. Not just for survival but that time you need tweezers to remove a large thorn or sting, or have lost your last needle and need to repair your tent/tarp for a few grams worth having http://readyman.com/Free-Special-For...Survival-Card/

Breacher
Re my EDC pouch - I have two of these - the plan was to use one for my everyday trousers and one for my hunting / shooting trousers to avoid transferring pouch each time. But in practice, I have done just that - pretty much used just the one pouch. So, it now looks like I have one surplus to requirements............ Grouse
Where is the best place to purchase Celox dressing? Had a look on eBay and not sure on what I should be buying?
brown dog
Where is the best place to purchase Celox dressing? Had a look on eBay and not sure on what I should be buying? Can't help on best prices I'm afraid; but you want impregnated gauze NOT granules Any of the quikclot/celox/hemcon gauzes. One eg that doesn't look too silly if you team up with someone: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Set-5x-2020-Quikclot-Combat-Gauze-Exp-2-2020-IFAK-Trauma-Medic-Supply-/400976444061?hash=item5d5c0efa9d
Grouse
Thanks for the link, do they have an expiry date on them, if so is it a long period? Just in process of putting a Personal Carry kit together for chainsaw use, suppose this would be good in that too? Is it normal to carry two per kit - presume they need to stay waterproof at all times? Thanks again
Rob1562
Hi Grouse.... take a look at www.tacmedsolutions.com not sure how they compare price wise but they have a great range of gear to check out. Yes they have a use by date, usually 5 years from manufacture, but not always from date of sale....may have been in stock a while. They come in a sealed, airtight packaging so providing they aren't damaged, don't necessarily have to be kept completely dry. As BD stated, get the gauze not the granules. Regards, Rob. CAT touriquets and isreali dressings + burn gel in the motor at all times + a pack of mineral water bottles. Just a note for reference the use of tourniquets and quickclot is now recognised again in the first aid world, quickclot being much safer to use than it used to be. Breacher
Open to interpretation really. Is it "disguised" ? With the makers name emblazoned and parts visible at side ? Is it marketed as "disguised" ? Lets face it - a multi tool looks like a pliars to the layman but its not disguised as a pliars.

RoryH
Nope. Banned CJA88 Offensive weapons order 2002? Is that the same one that banned those belt buckle push dagger type knives and this be considered similar? Just for idle information without reading a load of legislature. Is that the same one that banned those belt buckle push dagger type knives and this be considered similar? Breacher
Put "Your Honour" on the end of that and say it out loud (to see how that would sound in court ) Correct - down to a court to decide. However, being the equivalent to a swiss army knife or multitool in contents, I reckon you would stand a good chance. Its not as if its a dagger being stored in the buckle. And looking like is not the same as disguised ! I will stick to my trusty swiss army knife though.........
