  1. I have the MSA's with the gel pads, they are really comfy, they get my vote.
  2. Is this in 6.5x47? I have a Redding s type bushing die set with a body bump die if your interested in a part exchange. They are virtually unused as I bought them with a blaser barrel that had only 20 shots fired though it. I would be happy to send you some pictures if you are interested.
  3. 100 LAPUA BRASS – 7MM-08 REM Seal opened but never used £80 posted
  4. Without wanting to hijack the post, l would be interested in the loads you were using and changes you made to the lo 6.5x47.
  5. Just moved to the dark side and ordered a Blaser in 22-250 and 6.5x47, I would be interested in the best way to measure seating depths, l have read that Blaser’s tend to like a bit more lead than a traditional bolt action. Any starting loads and dimensions for the above would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Neil
  6. Does anyone have a video of how to disassemble a sako quad bolt. I took my son to Bisley last week and noticed that the bolt was at time’s stiffer than normal to close. I have put about 4000 rounds though it and it has never been stripped, so it might be time for a little TLC.
  7. RWS R50’s are the most accurate by far in my Sako Quad. Between £12-15 per 50 but you get what you pay for.
  8. Due to upgrading to a RCBS Chargemaster,, I have a set of Gempro scales for sale, IMO they have are one of the best sub £200 scales on the market. They are in excellent condition, £120 posted.
  9. Only ever knew bradders from his posts on here, he made me smile many times by his direct but honest views. Great sense of humour, I’m sure he will be sadly missed but never forgotten. RIP Mark
  10. Hi Callum, Could l take 200 please. Could you forward me your PayPal details
  11. I will take the Sierra 6.5mm 120g Spitzer 1720 x 160 and the RL15. I have asked Marv to pick them up when he comes next, if not l should be at Bisley the 3rd week of September. Thanks
  12. Hi Sam l use sierra’s in my 6br and it loves them, 31.8gr of vit 135 is the most accurate load in my rifle, but as always work up increments. I have used 140 but the 135 seems to give a more accurate load. Neil
  13. I am considering optimising my rifles to one calibre that’s suits all, l know this is the holly grail and in real terms not possible but l would just like some guidance for those who may have tried to go down this route. I currently have a 6mmbr for target/fox and a 7mm08 for the occasional deer. I really like my br and would ideally like something with a little more punch that is caperble of taking the occasional fallow. When l had the br built, l purchased a spare 6mm Brux barrel with 1-10 twist, so ideally l would like to utilise this if possible. I was considering the 6xc or the dasher, l would appreciate some input or if anyone else has had a similar dilemma. Regards Neil
  14. I have a Stuart Mitchell, quality knife and holds a great edge. I also have a swing blade which is just as impressive for field use, but l have to admit the Stuart Mitchell is a thing of beauty.
  15. Could I ask what loads you are using in your 7-08 Case Primer Bullet Thanks Neil
  16. I don't know any farriers will the wife's toenails do the trick
